From ball pit playtime to unforgettable meet‑and‑greets, C.A.T. had such a great time at The World Pup on Saturday!

We met pro skateboarder, Bam Margera and the Mayor of Miami, shared plenty of cuddles and kisses with attendees, and connected with some amazing four‑legged friends who would be perfect additions to our therapy dog pack!

Thank you and for such a fun morning, so many new connections, and lots of happy tails!

Our hearts are heavy today as we say goodbye to another incredible canine.

Please join us in paying tribute to therapy dog Rusty, who passed away this week. Rusty, a beautiful standard poodle with the sweetest soul, brought comfort, joy, and gentle companionship wherever he went. Alongside his devoted handler and owner, Tina, he formed a remarkable duo, sharing countless meaningful moments and brightening the lives of so many.

Rusty had a quiet, special way about him. He didn’t need to make noise to make an impact, his calm presence spoke volumes. Gentle, kind, and deeply loving, he drew people in effortlessly. Whether it was his relaxed nature, his soft fur, or simply the warmth he radiated, everyone who met him felt at ease in his presence.

Tina and Rusty visited so many different places and touched so many lives, but there was something extra special about the way he connected with children. He welcomed their affection without hesitation, patiently allowing little hands to rest on him, to hold his paws, or even give a gentle tug on his ears. He was truly a people-pleaser and a people-lover… and oh, how deeply he was loved in return.

Rusty, sweet boy, may you run free across the rainbow bridge, reunited with all who have gone before you. You will forever hold a place in our hearts, and your legacy will live on through C.A.T. and in every life you touched.

And Tina, thank you for sharing your sweet boy with our community and for allowing his love to reach so many.

Run free, sweet Rusty. 💜🌈🐾

🐾 Meet therapy dog Cora! 🐾 Cora is a wonderful 4‑year‑old Australian Shepherd, and alongside her mom, Leanne, she has been spreading comfort and joy throughout our community.

Cora and Leanne became a certified Pet Therapy Team with our organization just four months ago and were certified to work with children shortly after. Since then, they’ve made a meaningful impact through numerous therapy visits and community events.

This year, they’ve visited senior homes, treatment centers, hospitals, and many other facilities ❤️. They’ve also partnered with our friends at to support Bite Prevention classes and brought smiles to Sunny Isles Library, where Cora helps children build confidence and improve their reading skills.

If you’re in South Florida and would love to have your dog certified as a therapy dog—just like Cora—and help make a difference in the lives of others, we’d love to have you join us! 🐶

Last week, we were excited to welcome new therapy dog, Shoco, and therapy dog, Devon, to students at Paws to De‑Stress event. During exam week, students took a much‑needed break to enjoy cuddles, calm, and connection with our therapy dogs and the smiles said it all.

Moments like these are a perfect reminder of how powerful therapy dog teams can be. Whether it’s a college campus, school, hospital, or community event, volunteering your time with your dog can make a real difference right in your own community or wherever you’re called to serve.
