Vertical Farm Vertical Farm ( Vertical Stables) is a horse boarding, lesson and training facility in Fort Edward.

We specialize in dressage but also offer beginner lessons as well as jumping and lessons in basic horsemanship.

We had a fabulous weekend of learning and lessons with Ann Guptill this weekend. As always, Ann has an amazing ability to get right to the challenges and work through them in a way that is positive and educational to both horse and rider. Chapman and Willow got some well deserved recognition at the ENYDCTA banquet. Willow placed 1st for 3rd level recognized dressage and Chapman placed 2nd! Dressage, horses, competing...none of it is an easy path and sometimes I get frustrated with not being further along...but i also need to remind myself that if someone had told me 10 yrs ago, I'd be competing not one but two horses at 3rd level, I wouldn't have believed it! Sure, there are others riding many more upper level horses but I'm thankful for these two and the many others in my training. As a trainer, I hope to never lose sight of the fact that these owners entrust me with their horses. Everyone of them is special in their own way, and I'm thankful for the support of all my clients.

A super day for our Fall Schooling Show! All of our riders looked fabulous and did an excellent job. For most of them, this was their first ever show experience. Lots of smiles and happy faces! A huge thank you to everyone that donated prizes and their time. A special thanks to Kristi Dawson who was here bright and early and stayed to the very end working as a fabulous ring steward and all around helper.
A huge thanks to all of the parents who bring their children to weekly lessons and help support their kids equestrian dreams, and of course their were a few spouses cheering on their wives too !

We will be having cider, cider donuts, pumpkin honey coffee cake and coffee for breakfast concessions as well as hot dog...

Welcome to Vertical Farm

A Family-Oriented Equestrian Center

If you’re looking for high quality and personal service, you’ve come to the right place. At Vertical Farm we’ll give you the attention and personal service you’ll come to expect and enjoy. We offer the best in riding lessons of many disciplines as well as family fun events. Let us put our experience to work for you​. Our main location is conveniently located at 10140 State Rte. 149, Fort Ann, NY 12827, 5.6 miles east from the Lake George outlets. Look for the many horse paddocks on the right (South) side of the road. There is a large blue sign with our name as well as a Vertical Farm banner on a grey barn by the road.

Now introducing our second location! We now offer boarding and lessons at “Vertical Stables” at 79 County Route 42 in Fort Edward, NY 12828. If our main events, boarding and lesson stable in Fort Ann is too far for you, have no fear! You can now join us at Vertical Stables for the same great care. From Adirondack Northway, take Exit 17N to Route 9 and turn right on Reynolds Rd. Continue over Hudson Falls bridge and turn right to follow signs for County Route 42. We are located less than a half mile up on the left hand side. There is a large blue “Vertical Stables” sign at the road and our stables are light blue with white fencing.
