100% volunteer foster home based rescue Sandi Paws Rescue was started in loving memory of my service dog, Sandi. To see the joy she gave to people was amazing .

Sandi knew that when I put her service jacket on she had a job to do. She gave 110% everyday of her life, to everyone she met. Sandi was 16 years young when I had to tell her goodbye. I knew I couldn't replace the dog I lost when I went looking to fill the really big hole in my heart that was left by Sandi . That is when I realized; Sandi gave every bit of herself every day to all kinds of people, now it was my turn to give; to give back 110% everyday to the dogs out there that have never had a loving family or all the dogs in shelters or wandering the street that go to bed hungry and scared every night. So, in memory of my beloved Sandi, I promise to give 110% back everyday to rescue and place dogs in a loving and safe home as they all so deserve. Sincerely,

If looking for the one dog who simply enjoys life to the fullest, well let us introduce you to Buddy. Peanut Buddy to be exact :) This handsome ray of sunshine is around 3 yrs old and just the sweetest. He was "adopted" by some people but less than a week later he was brought to the vet to be put down. Yep, you read that correctly, and the reason was he played way to rough with their cat!! The vet said no and reached out to one of our southern fosters for help thankfully, he did not deserve that at all! He was skinny and looked unhealthy but look at him now, he looks amazing and such a sweet soul. He does get along with other dog friends with a proper intro of course, but yeah, no kitties for this fella. He is ball obsessed pooch they are the best thing ever besides food and people to this boy :). He loves to snoop around sniffing out new things and race around with the others but also knows how to relax and enjoy life. Now he is fully vetted and ready to find a real forever family this time. Sweet Tiggy is ready for her debut in WI, she is ready to find her very own family and live the good life. This sweetie had a tough start at life being found with her siblings abandoned, sadly a few did not survive, but she is now happy and healthy and loving life. She loves to race around and have some good puppy fun/loves toys to throw around or will play chase with her siblings for fun. We believe she will be medium sized when full grown, we are not sure what breed she may be, so we call them our Mississippi specials :) She is currently right around 11 weeks old and will be here in WI on Nov 7th, an online application can be found at SandiPaws.org ask for little Tiggy

This sweet lively young lady is Lottie; she is roughly around 1.5 yrs young. She is an amazing looking girl with the good looks to prove it. She is friendly with everyone from other dog friends to all ages of people but has not been cat tested. She loves to play and have fun; toys are her favorite things ever she is always seeking one out to enjoy her time with. Thoroughly enjoys all the love and attention she can muster out of you, she stares up at you with her oh so soulful eyes and her foster cannot resist. Playing or hanging out with other dogs is always a good time for her also, she enjoys a good play session for sure. She is one of our dogs who had to go thru heartworm treatment and is now ready to experience how good a forever home will fell. She is ready to join you on fun adventures or a night cuddling on the couch, she is game for it all. This little cutie is Bodhi he is around 10-11 weeks old currently. He is part of the B litter who is now on the search for his own forever family to love and go thru life with. Our best guess is he will be medium-large sized when full grown. Loves to play and have fun/loves attention the more the happier he is and loves to play with other dog friends and have fun. At just 1½ years old and about 51 lbs, Cinnamon has already lived through more than any dog should.

She was one of 20 dogs left behind at a closed shelter, crammed into just two wire crates. 💔 But that chapter is OVER. Cinnamon is now fully vetted, has completed her heartworm treatment, and is ready to find the family she deserved all along. 🏡❤️

I’m Charlie, I’m Jake… I’M CHARLIE JAKE! (AKA CJ)
I’m a 10 month old, 46 pound bundle of energy and love that wants to be near my humans or in their lap getting pets.
Things I love:
-Belly rubs (obviously the best thing in the world besides food)
-Tennis balls and Kongs (I LOVE to chew)
-Playing with all medium to large humans and dogs
Things I am unsure of at the moment:
-Cats
-Squirrels
-Rabbits
I want to play with them… probably a little too rough…
I have a LOT of puppy love and energy and would benefit most from being with another pup, a fenced in yard for me to have ALLL the zoomies, or active humans that will let me tag along on their walks and runs.
I am working on my manners greeting new people. I just get so excited and want to jump and give them all my love. I am great with my leash manners (unless I see a small critter… sorry). I am house and crate trained! I also love car rides, and if you let me, I can be your navigator. 🤣

This little 14 # girl is Bleu, she is right around 4.5 yrs old currently. This little girl started with an owner who let her pretty much do whatever she pleased but was not given the proper training so her "little dog" complex was running wild. She came into foster where she was given some training but is still a bit of work in progress.
She is doing fine now but would benefit with an owner who can show her even more with some more training and for her to feel safe and loved. She needs someone to not be intimidated by her at first, because she then she turns into the sweetest little girl ever! 🐕
She is doing very good with her house manners. Does good with other dog friends with a proper intro of course/currently fostered with dog savvy kitties also. She is crate trained but does prefer to sleep on a nice comfy bed instead, lol Walks pretty good on her leash and loves to explore. A pup so nice, you gotta say it twice!
Pup Pup is approximately 4.5 years old and weighs 50 pounds. You might say she looks like any other dog! You would be wrong! She is quite special in her own ways!
Pup Pup is a very sweet and special girl looking for a special home. She has something that not all dogs have: an overwhelming desire for companionship with other animals. Pup Pup truly needs other animals around her to thrive. While she could exist in a home as an only pet, it truly would not be a home in which she would feel at ease.
Pup Pup has great love and need for other dogs and also finds comfort in having feline friends as well. Pup Pup is very timid with new people, places, things, and situations. The best way to combat that is for her to have an animal companion beside her to help her feel safe and confident.
Pup Pup is potty trained, accustomed to being kenneled at home and on car rides, and will walk nicely on leash (although will need continued practice getting “dressed” with collar and leash as she is touch shy at first)! Pup Pup knows how to sit but is often afraid of being asked!
Due to her distaste for fast movements and disinterest in snuggles, a home with older teens and adults only will be most appropriate for Pup Pup! She doesn’t dislike children, but her preference for slow and steady simply won’t align with a child’s expectations for a family pet!
Pup Pup has been in her current foster home for 6 months while she received treatment for heartworms, and in that time, she befriended a dozen other dogs, two cats, and two humans! All she asks is that her forever home gives her the space and the time to understand she is safe in a new environment. Once she settles in, she is a priceless gem of a dog.

It’s no trick that Hazal has proven herself to be a real treat. This sweet 10 month old brindle baby has acclimated to her foster home quickly.
She gets along great with her two friendly doggie brothers and has found her kennel to be a place where great things happen (treats and napping are at the top of that list). Spends her day emptying the toy box to find every chew bone then ends her day with snuggles on the couch.
Leash and potty training have been an easy task for Hazal who just wants to please her people. Now all this pretty young lady needs is her own forever family to do this thing called life with. An online application can be found at SandiPaws.org ask for Hazal.
