Hello facebook! We are looking for a new member to join the FVH team! The position of kennel tech/veterinary assistant is currently available; experience is preferred but not required. Applicants should be eager to learn, self motivated, and prepared for a fast paced work environment. We are a single doctor practice that focuses on feline and canine patients only, offering routine treatments/checkups, boarding, surgery, and emergency care. Our new team member would receive training and gain experience in all areas of our practice! Applications through facebook are not accepted. Applications must be filled out in our office.

Happy Easter Crunchies

Ingredients and Tools
To make these crunchies, you will need:

1 cup of natural, xylitol-free peanut butter
1 ½ cups of oats (rolled or quick oats)
½ cup of finely grated carrots
2 tablespoons of honey (optional)
¼ cup of unsweetened shredded coconut
¼ cup of ground flaxseed
2 tablespoons of water (adjust as needed)
You also need a bowl, spoon, baking sheet, and either parchment paper or a non-stick mat.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Here’s how to make your dog treats:

Preheat your oven to 325°F
Mix peanut butter, oats, carrots, honey, coconut, and flaxseed in a large bowl.
Add water slowly until the dough is even.
Form the dough into balls or cookie shapes.
Set them on a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Bake 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
Let them cool before giving to your dog.
