It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Mr. Tibbs.

"How lucky we are to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard."

Mr. Tibbs was truly one of a kind. Whether he was demanding treats, knocking things over to make sure he got those treats, or "assisting" with patient treatments (he was always helpful and never in the way... 😉), he made sure everyone knew the hospital was really his. Every member of our team worked for Mr. Tibbs—including Dr. Glover—and we wouldn't have had it any other way.

In 2015, Mr. Tibbs began his incredible journey as one of Animal Crossing Veterinary Hospital's blood donors. Over the next eight years, he helped save countless feline lives, leaving behind a legacy that extends far beyond our hospital walls. As one of our first blood donors, he paved the way and set the standard for those who followed.

On August 6, 2026, Mr. Tibbs crossed the Rainbow Bridge at the young age of 14 years.

Today, our hospital feels a little quieter and a little emptier. There are no demands for treats echoing through the halls, no mischievous attempts to help with patient care, and no familiar face reminding us who was really in charge.

Mr. Tibbs leaves behind an immeasurable impact on our clients, our staff, his family, and the countless cats whose lives were saved because of his generosity.

Mr. Tibbs, thank you for your years of service, your endless personality, and the joy you brought to all of us. You were truly one of a kind, and you will never be forgotten.

You paved the way, set the standard, and left paw prints on every heart that had the privilege of knowing you.

Run free, sweet boy. Rest peacefully over the Rainbow Bridge. Until we meet again. 🌈❤️
