So lately, I’ve been taking all the recipes I’ve written down over the past 4 years, and I’ve been typing them up on the computer to add to a flash drive for safe keeping. I’ve got the majority of these receipts memorized by heart, but business is expanding and I’ll need these to share with future employees, I already know.
Anywho, these are notes I wrote down gearing up for my first event ever. I was so nervous but also so excited. I didn’t have anything, so I borrowed a table from a friend, bought cheap baskets for my display from Walmart and a little dollar store chalk board to write my menu pricing. I also didn’t know anything about dehydrating either so all my bags of treats had condensation from moisture. 🤦🏻♀️ Needless to say, I’ve grown a lot since then.
And although I may sometimes wish I was further along than where I’m at - in business and in life - this was definitely a nice reminder of how far I’ve come. Through trial and error - I did it. Me. I may not be exactly where I want, but I’m exactly where I need to be.
