Meet Candice and her service dog, Hof 👋 Hof is Candice’s medical alert dog for her diabetes. They have been together for almost 6 years! He is trained to smell a fruity smell when her sugar drops below 70 and will bring her a “sugar bag” of supplies to get that number back up. He goes to work with her and is the best boy! Talk about a human animal bond! Hof not only offers medical assistance when necesary but companionship. Candice says he’s her best friend and has helped her gain a lot of freedom.

Candice was able to get Hof through the non profit, Circle Tail in Ohio. They help train service dogs for people with disabilities at no cost to them!
We celebrate this week and are so grateful to know the stories like Candice and Hof.
