If you have spotted a turtle slowly making its way across the road recently, you are not alone, and the timing is not a coincidence.

May marks the beginning of nesting season for many turtle species, and it continues through July.

We are still searching for a loving placement for Joey and Julie 💔🐾

Their devoted mom is currently in the hospital, and these two sweet 5-year-old Huskies urgently need a new forever home. This is an incredibly difficult situation for the family, and keeping Joey and Julie together is the priority.

They are a bonded pair who have always had each other. They have not had a lot of socialization, and are struggling with all the sudden changes happening around them.

✨ Need stability, kindness, and room to learn new routine

They need someone willing to open their heart and give them the time they need to adjust to a new life.
