We are looking to add to our team!

We are a boarding/training facility located on Holland’s South side with easy access from US 31 and
196.

This is a great part time - afterschool for the right person. Our PM shift starts daily at 3:30 PM. It is a two person shift.

Candidate should have the following qualifications:

Live in or near Holland’s south side

Be reliable and professional

Experience handling horses and be competent walking horses to and from barn to pastures

Able to clean stalls, push wheel barrows, sweep, carry water buckets, lift manure buckets, able to perform general barn chores

Whispering Creek Equestrian Center and home of Filly Hill Dressage is located on the South side of Holland, with easy access from US 31 and 196.

Amenities

Spacious, matted box stalls cleaned daily

Wash rack: hot and cold water

Tack Rooms: two well organized tack rooms that is key pad accessible and humidity controlled

We believe in turnout. Our horses are turned out daily for 17+ hours . Pasture groups are small and are equipped with automatic waterers and run ins. Hay is provided in the pastures

Am hay and grain
Lunch hay
Pm hay and grain
Tribute Grain

Indoor arena is a large, well lit 80x200 space that is groomed daily and treated biannually for a dust free riding experience. There are high quality arena mirrors throughout the space.

The outdoor arena is a regulation 20x60 meter space. Groomed daily.

Round pen for lunging

1/2 mile exercise track on the property that is perfect for getting out of the arenas and hacking in the fresh air

We work with a diverse group of horses and riders and use Dressage as our training medium. Our training philosophies are rooted in correct, foundational dressage and correct bio mechanics to help our horses to have healthy movement under saddle. We work with riders who “just want to ride better” “feel safe at the canter” and those who have upper level dressage goals. Our on site trainer can customize a program to suit your needs

On site owners

We work with a variety of veterinarians, farriers, equine dentists and saddle fitters in the area
