🎉 Exciting News from Wings and Things Rescue & Rehab! 🦜🐐🥚

We are so excited to announce that we’ll be attending the 12th Annual Ann Arbor Russian Festival on September 19th & 20th in Dexter, Michigan!

Be sure to stop by and meet two of our amazing large parrots and a few of our friendly goats! We’d love to meet everyone, share our mission, and spread the word about our sanctuary.

We’ll also have a few items for sale to help raise money for the sanctuary. So far we’ll be bringing:
🧴 Homemade whipped body butter
🥚 Farm-fresh chicken and duck eggs

💡 Now we need your help!

We’re looking for ideas on other items we could make or sell at the festival to help support our rescue and sanctuary. What would you love to see at our booth? Handmade crafts? Bird toys? Goat milk products? Baked goods? Something else?

Drop your ideas in the comments—we’d love to hear them! Every purchase helps us continue providing lifelong care, rehabilitation, and support for the animals who need us most.

Our mission is to keep companion parrots with the families who love them by providing temporary sanctuary during times of hardship. Whether an owner is facing a medical emergency, housing crisis, military deployment, financial hardship, or another life challenge, we offer safe, compassionate care until they are ready to welcome their feathered family member home. When reunification isn’t possible, we ensure every bird receives exceptional care while finding a loving forever home.
