As the team is sending me their goals for the year and long term, I want to add my goals for them 💪

✨Biggest Goal✨
Get competitive enough to compete in bigger races (AR Elite Finals, BBR, etc)

⭐️5 Year Goal⭐️
Have 25% of team qualifying for a finals

🎉2026 Goals🎉
1) Have atleast one rider In each age division make top 5 at LRC play days
2) Have atleast 2 riders make top 10 at 4H state show
3) Have atleast 2 riders commit to competing in Outlaw J Junior Rodeos
4) Enter the year with healthy horses and end it with healthy horses

What are we gonna do to acheive these?
•We are gonna ride and work hard all year.
•We are not gonna let our heads get down at losses, they aren’t losses they are lessons.
•Be thankful for the equine athlete under us and thank them for keeping us safe.
•Rain/Shine/Cold/Hot we are doing something to better ourselves or our horses abilities.
•BE A TEAM PLAYER and cheer others on, yes we compete against our team members but we want them to succeed!
•BE COACHABLE, you’ve gotta want to learn and you’ve gotta want it more for yourself than I want it for you
•BE HUMBLE, don’t be hard yourself-acknowledge mistakes and weakness-be thankful for the opportunity before you

“Most of all have fun, but take it serious. This is an expensive sport and your parents sacrifice a lot to make things happen for you and your horse. Don’t take the opportunity for granted, and realize when it’s too much for you and you need to take a step back to mentally heal”

Instead of: “I worked all day, I’m too tired to ride”
Have the Mindset… “How grateful am I to have the privilege to have a horse to ride”

Instead of: “I wish I had a competitive horse”
Have the Mindset.. “How grateful am I to be able to start from scratch and expand my skills and knowledge to make my own horse”

Instead of: “i dont have nice facilites to ride year around”
Have the Mindset: “How grateful am I to have a place I can even ride my horse and accommodate what we can do safely”

Change your mindset💙 We are all grateful for the opportunities that we never imagined would be given to us.
