Meet Ezzy. Came to us 2 days ago pregnant. Just gave birth to 9 little puppies. One didn’t make it. 8 did. She made the long trek from Calexico to our foster near Kingman Arizona on Monday.

Looks like we got her just in time .

The red light is a heat lamp. We are short on folks willing to foster especially litters. Our foster had a spot available in her barn and that’s where mom gave birth. The temps are in the 50s at night. The heat lamp and heat tray help keep the family warm.

If we had more fosters, we could help more dogs .

Please consider fostering, donating, transporting, or just volunteering.

Few are willing to foster. Those of us who do, are exhausted.

It is official, all 6 Great Dane puppies have been adopted!! Very happy for them all.

The family who reached out to us for assistance allowed us to sterilize the mom and the dad. They tried to place all the puppies themselves but were not successful.

They were about to give them away unvaccinated in front of Target .

We appreciate their cooperation and are happy to have been of assistance.

No more puppies will come from that household. And the puppies we got were adopted into wonderful homes.

And this is how these folks gather dogs and cats in their neighborhoods and bring them to our camping near Oaxaca Mexico .

If we can raise more money then we can increase the number of sterilizations.

According to our vet “They are humble people but with a big heart. Tomorrow they want to thank you with a video.”

Zeus- Great Dane puppy number three of Six was adopted today.

He has gone to his furever home. We wish him lots of love and a happy life.

3 down. 3 to go.

Mom is about 80 pounds grey
Dad is about 140 pounds fawn

He will be huge. He is the biggest one out of the six we got in

And of course we fixed mom and dad as a condition of accepting the puppies into the rescue

Apollo, puppy number two left yesterday as well. 2 down, 4 to go. He will grow up to be a big boy.

We wish him a healthy and happy life!

Mom is blue and weighs about 80 pounds

Dad is fawn and weighs about 140 pounds

He is one of the bigger puppies from this litter

And yes- we paid to sterilize both mom and dad as a condition of taking the babies

The first one of our Great Dane puppies, Cleo, left yesterday. We had 6. And they are leaving us one by one. We wish them very happy lives!!

Mom is a Blue Great Dane weighing about 80 pounds

Dad is a 140 pound Fawn

Yes- we paid to get both parents fixed before accepting the litter of 6.

Spaying and neutering is THE most impactful and important thing any of us can do.

It’s never easy seeing kittens at the clinic. Everyone is full and this kitten and so many other kittens have to be spayed/neutered and returned back outside.
We know this upsets you like it upsets us. Please turn your passion into action. Almost every female coming through our clinic is pregnant or lactating.

Ways you can help:

🐾 Volunteer to trap community cats
🐾 Volunteer at a spay/neuter clinic
🐾 Do not support allowing pregnant cats to give birth. On the streets or in rescue care
🐾 Donate to TNR clinics
🐾 Share posts from TNR clinics
🐾 Promote spay/neuter and provide resources when you see the need for it.

Update- We pulled all 5. They are tiny. They weigh from 4 to 9 pounds each at about 7 weeks old. We have them at one of our amazing fosters.

Our sterilization campaigns continue in the small village near Oaxaca Mexico and in Iran.

We are well into the 200s at this point in Mexico.

The Iraninan campaign is at about 90 dogs and 10 cats so far.

This is one of the biggest and the most important thing we are doing this year. We are so very proud of what we are involved with.

Unfortunately very little to no money has been donated towards our campaign from you, the public. So we have gotten creative- we are doing birthday fundraisers, special dog adoptions, medical transports for donations etc.. we will make this thing happen this year come rain or shine.

We get such joy from posting these photos knowing that these animals will no longer be reproducing. That their unborn babies will not suffer as they will never even BE.

Please share our post and help us if you can. There is such a need in the two places we selected this year.
