Pet Helpers, Inc We also want to educate pet owners on the importance of spaying and neutering. Pet Helpers, Inc. is a registered 501c3 Non-Profit pet rescue.

A dedicated group of volunteers, in the Fairmont WV area, striving to locate forever homes for rescued animals, as well as offering other assistance and support services. We are a foster-based rescue and all pets live in homes with a volunteer until their forever home is found. We do not have a facility. You can visit our pets at adoption events or by appointment. We assist with public spay/neuter

through grants. Our volunteers are involved with several area schools to provide early education in the proper care of pets. Pet Helpers operates solely on adoption fees and public donations, we have no paid staff.

Happy One Year Gotcha Day to our little legend! Olden came to us a year ago today, and we have enjoyed every minute of him being a part of our Pet Helper’s family. Even though Olden is in congestive heart failure, as well as kidney disease, he continues to prove he is a strong little guy. Olden has had a few set backs, but is doing great today! That’s because he can’t wait to celebrate with all his friends! Olden could not decide what his gotcha day outfit should be, so he is wearing them all! Meet Angel!
Angel is 8 years old and weighs 14 pounds. She has been spayed, vaccinated (including her boosters), microchipped, dewormed, flea treated, and has even had a dental. She's ready to find her forever home!
Angel is a sweet girl who's a little shy when you first meet her, but once she feels comfortable, she'll be your best friend. She would love to be the queen of her castle, so she would do best as the only dog in the home.
She walks great on a leash and rides great in the car.
Angel's favorite pastime is playing fetch. She can even catch the ball like a pro!

Meet Andy, not only is he super cute, he's super sweet. Andy is a Chihuahua mix, he weighs 9 lbs and is around 4-5 years old. Andy came from a bad situation in another county, despite that he's still a loving little boy. He loves attention, cuddling and hanging out with his people. Andy will follow you everywhere you go because he just wants to be part of whatever you're doing. He's doing great with housetraining and is working on leash training so a fenced in yard would be best for him while he continues working on his leash training. He gets along with the other small dogs in his foster home, not a fan of bigger dogs. He's neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, started on monthly flea-tick prevention, was tested for Heartworm and Lyme, was negative for both, he even had a dental. Hi everyone, my name's Casper, let me tell you a little about myself! I'm a Chihuahua mix, 2 -3 years old and I weigh 16lbs. My dad had to go into the hospital and couldn't take care of me anymore, so I found myself at Pet Helpers. My foster family has been taking good care of me and I'm doing good here, but if I'm being honest...what I really want is a family of my own. I'm a pretty easy going boy, I don't ask for much, I just want someone to love me, give me lots of attention and let me hang out with them, that's when I'm happiest! I get along good with the other small dogs in my foster home. I've already been to the vets so I'm neutered, microchipped, good on all my vaccines, was started on monthly flea-tick prevention and was negative for Heartworm and Lyme. I'm leash trained, so if you're looking for a walking partner, I'm good with that. I'm crate trained but well behaved so don't really need to be crated and I'm doing good with housetraing as long as I get regular trips outside. Meet Miss Mouse, she too came to us from a very bad situation in another county she is a tiny Shih-tzu about 6 years old and 8-9 lbs. She is a very sweet ornery girl, she will sit places and you will wonder how she ever got there. Mouse is doing great with house training, gets along well with the other small dogs in her foster home and is a happy loving girl! Mouse has been spayed, vaccinated, heartworm lyme tested negative, dewormed, flea treated and microchipped. Mouse needs a person that will love her like no other for the rest of her days. Meet Molly, a sweet little poodle somewhere between 6 and 9 years old she is around 8lbs. She is the sweetest little thing that came from a very bad situation, and deserves all the love for the rest of her days. She is spayed, had a dental, been vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated and micro chipped. She gets along well with the other dogs in her foster home, is doing great with house training and walks well on a leash. Sweet Sassy came to us out of a bad situation in another county with her 3 babies which have all been adopted, now its her turn. Sassy is around 3 - 4 years old and she weighs 8- 9lbs, we believe she is a dachshund mix .
