Dog Training Club of Chester County (DTCCC) The Dog Training Center of Chester County is a nonprofit dog training center based in Exton PA. Classes teach force free, positive reinforcement training.

DTCCC offers a large variety of dog training classes including Basic Manners pet classes, Kindergarten Puppy Training (KPT), Advanced Manners, Obedience, Agility, Flyball, K-9 Nosework, Freestyle, Rally-O, CGC/TDI, Clicker skills, Treibball, Show Handling and more. There is something for everyone. DTCCC is open to the public. Our instructors are CPDT certified professionals. The center is large, e

asily accessible and climate controlled. Classes are fun and use positive reinforcement and science-based techniques to help handlers develop a bonded relationship with their canine friend that will last a lifetime. Hours vary, please check schedule for class times.

🎉🐾 DTCCC’s 50th Anniversary Spotlight: Pearl! 🐾🎉

As we continue to celebrate 50 years of DTCCC, we’re honoring the incredible dogs who make our lives brighter — and today, we celebrate the sweet and spirited Pearl, loved by Michaela Kelly.

🌟 Pearl of Chandlee, named at LaMancha and AKC-registered, is turning 4 this summer and already has an impressive list of accomplishments:
🏅 CGC, CGCA, CGCU, Farm Dog, TDI, and Novice Trick Dog!

But Pearl is more than her titles — she’s a true heart dog. 💛 A devoted therapy dog, she patiently waits each afternoon to greet the neighborhood kids off the school bus, ready for pets and love. When visiting the hospital, she insists on spreading joy — and especially loves when staff sit on the floor so she can climb into their laps for some serious “therapy.”

🐶 Pearl is intuitive, gentle, and wise beyond her years — whether she’s carefully playing with a tiny 6-pound Havanese or looking out for her granddog buddy recovering from knee surgery.

Her favorite things?
🍽️ Anything her humans are eating
🐿️ Barking at local wildlife
📚 Every class she’s taken at DTCCC!

A big round of applause to our latest Level 1 Basic Manners class at the Dog Training Center of Chester County! 🎉 These dedicated dogs and their humans have built a strong foundation in polite behavior, communication, and teamwork.

They’ve mastered essential skills like:

Join us for a Therapy Dog Evaluation with The Bright & Beautiful Therapy Dogs, Inc. 🐶✨

Saturday 7/19/2025, 11:20 AM – 2:00 PM

This 20-minute assessment is designed to ensure dogs and their handlers are ready to bring comfort and joy to hospitals, schools, and other community settings.

✅ Dogs must be at least 1 year old
✅ Up-to-date on vaccinations
✅ No history of aggression

The evaluation will assess:
🩺 Comfort around medical equipment
🌍 Reactions to new environments
🤝 Handler communication & control

Frisco got his name a week after adoption—named after the OBX town where past family pups made beachside memories. 🌊 Now, he’s making his own unforgettable memories!

💛 Personality: Gentle, joyful, and a friend to all—humans and animals alike
🐱 Best Buddy: A cat named Little Kitty

🎉 Congratulations to Sara Daniels! 🎉

The Dog Training Center of Chester County is thrilled to announce that our very own instructor, Sara Daniels, CPDT, is now an AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Evaluator! 🐾

The CGC program is a nationally recognized certification that promotes responsible pet ownership and celebrates well-mannered dogs. It includes a 10-skill test that focuses on good behavior in the home and in the community — like polite greetings, loose-leash walking, and staying calm around distractions. It’s often a stepping stone for therapy work and other dog sports!

We’re proud to have Sara as part of our talented team! 👏🐕

Giorgie has an origin story worthy of a movie 🎬—complete with snowstorms, chartered planes, and a mission across international borders to a truffle farm on Vancouver Island! Kris braved closed roads, grounded flights, and four unexpected hotel nights to bring Giorgie home, and the journey perfectly foreshadowed the big, adventurous personality that was coming into her life.
