Well, my babies are officially 6 weeks old, and life around here is getting busier—and a whole lot more fun! ❤️
My little ones are now completely weaned from Mama and have officially graduated to eating their dry puppy kibble like big puppies. I have to admit, watching them all gather around their bowls and happily munch away makes me realize just how quickly they are growing up. 🥹 However, I am always keeping an eye on them from a far.
And then there’s the Oregon rain! 🌧️ Apparently, it has decided that fall is here because we’ve had quite a bit of rain these last few days. The puppies have discovered that staying underneath the covered areas is a pretty good idea when the rain is coming down… but give them a patch of grass with a few puddles and suddenly they become little explorers! 😂🐾
They LOVE splashing through the puddles, getting their paws wet, and generally making a mess. Of course, after all that outdoor fun, they think the best place to be is in the arms of their humans getting warm cuddles and snuggles. And honestly, we don’t mind one bit. ❤️
The doggie door training is also well underway! They are getting better and better at figuring out how to go in and out on their own. There are still a few moments of “Wait… how does this thing work?” 😂, but they are catching on quickly.
At six weeks, these puppies are becoming little Labradors in every sense of the word—curious, playful, adventurous, hungry, cuddly, and just a tiny bit mischievous. Watching their personalities emerge has been so much fun!
Six weeks down… and somehow, I’m not ready for these babies to grow up! 🥹🤎🐾

🐾 Ember’s Diary — 5 Weeks Old! 🐾

Five weeks old already?! How did that happen?** ❤️

My “Coooers” are growing up way too fast, and this litter continues to be one of the sweetest groups of puppies ever. They are busy, curious, playful little explorers now, and I swear they get cuter by the day!

They have been spending more and more time outside, and they **LOVE it!** Their outdoor play area is pretty large, so they have only explored a little bit of it so far. There is so much to sniff, investigate, and get into! They are becoming more confident every time they go out.

The doggie door is still a **work in progress**. 😂 They are getting better at figuring it out, but sometimes it seems like they need to have a little meeting about whether that strange flap is actually supposed to be used. We’ll get there!

One of their favorite things, though, is when Human Mama gets down in the middle of them for puppy cuddles.❤️ They pile all over her, crawl into her lap, and soak up all the attention. Of course, Human Mama ends up covered in puppy scratches, little teeth marks and who-knows-what from our outdoor adventures. Her skin may not be nearly as excited about puppy cuddles as the rest of her is… but apparently cute puppies get a free pass. 😂❤️

At night, they have discovered another great source of entertainment—BUGS! 🐜🦋 They love watching them fly around and will try to catch them by reaching out with those tiny paws and giving them a little tap, tap, tap. It is absolutely adorable watching them discover all these little things that are new to them.

Five weeks old means we are officially in the “look out, they're mobile!” stage. 😂
They are SO worth it. ❤️🐾

Dear Diary,
Well, my little babies are officially 4 weeks old, and I’m not quite sure how that happened so fast! ❤️
Things are getting VERY busy around here. My puppies are starting to stay awake for longer stretches, and let me tell you… they have discovered that there is a whole world to explore! They are toddling around, playing with each other, and getting more curious by the day.
And those TEETH have arrived! 😳🦷 They are so cute… until they decide to practice using those little needles on me. Let’s just say I’m not always impressed with their new talent. Sometimes I have to remind them that I am not a chew toy! 😂
They are also starting to figure out where they are supposed to potty, which their humans are very happy about. We’re still working on it, but these little ones are learning quickly.
And now comes another big milestone… puppy gruel! 🍽️ They have officially started trying their first meals, and judging by the mess they make, I think they like it! There are little faces, paws, and sometimes even ears covered in food. Apparently, eating is an all-body experience when you’re four weeks old. 😂
They are growing, learning, playing, and becoming more and more fun every single day. My babies may be getting bigger, but they are still my little babies. ❤️🐾
Four weeks old and already keeping everyone on their toes!

Guardian homes provide a loving forever home while we retain breeding rights for a set period of time. We are looking for families located within approximately 1-3 hours of Eugene, Oregon.
Guardian families are responsible for normal pet expenses and providing an excellent home, training, and care. We cover all breeding-related expenses.
