Oregon's Legendary Goldendoodles

Oregon's Legendary Goldendoodles Our mission is to produce healthy, even tempered, and truly beautiful life-changing puppies. I LOVE WHAT I DO! I lOVE DOGS! I do not remember life without dogs.

Every decision we make is driven by our deep desire to better the breed and bring joy to families. I LOVE “GIVING BACK” THROUGH THE POWER OF A DOG! As a child my parents ran a breeding kennel in LA. MANY dogs. My childhood chore was to play with and socialize puppies. Awesome right? Well, my 10-year-old self would say otherwise- it was after all a chore I was FORCED to do. I learned a lot from bei

ng a part of that experience, and I’ve always had my mom for assistance as needed. We left the breeding and kennel life in LA and moved to rural Oregon in 1992. It was then I learned, I am not a city girl! I’m a country girl through and through. I raised pigs, I rode horses, and I had a pet goat. I spent my summers on old logging roads or down by the creek. I’m an active person. I love all animals. I always stay busy, and I thrive in chaos! Let me tell you - I’ve never met chaos like trying to “herd” a litter of 3 # puppies. The relationship that one builds with a pet is priceless. I see the value in recognizing who each dog is, both their strengths and weaknesses. Learning to work together as a team while building on respect and trust is a relationship you will not find anywhere else. It’s incredibly rewarding! I’m a mother of 6 thriving children. 4 of them are now adults and all of them participate in our program with varying roles - Including puppy care, guardians to our Ladies and Gentlemen, competitive sports or conformation, socializing, cleaning, errands and so much more. Jackson our youngest can often be seen in puppy videos we share. He is outgoing, energetic, and a born leader. He has taken great steps in learning respectful interactions and how to communicate with our dogs and plays a large role in their socialization. As a family we also own and operate 2 other seperate specialized businesses. I have spent a lot of time studying “DOG”. How to communicate with them, how to read body language. This is something I continue to learn and grow in. Prior to breeding I learned everything I could to make sure we are breeding healthy and happy dogs.

🇺🇸 Introducing Our Memorial Day Litter 🇺🇸

In honor of Memorial Day, and with gratitude to those who have served our country, we're excited to introduce our newest litter.

Their mother, Saoirse, has an Irish Gaelic name that translates to freedom and liberty, which inspired this litter's theme:

💚 Noble (Green Collar)
🩷 Glory (Pink Collar)
💙 Justice (Blue Collar)
🧡 Valor (Orange Collar)
💛 Liberty (Yellow Collar)
💜 Freedom (Lavender Collar)

These puppies are expected to mature in the 10–20 pound range, making them part of our Petite Goldendoodle program. They are expected to have curly, low-shedding coats that many allergy-sensitive families appreciate.

We're looking forward to sharing their growth and developmental milestones over the coming weeks.

❤️🤍💙 Welcome to the Memorial Day Litter.

✨ Introducing February ✨

Some puppies make an impression the moment you meet them.

February is one of those puppies.

Sweet, thoughtful, and deeply connected to her people, February has a way of melting into your arms and making you feel like you've known her forever. She isn't the puppy racing through life without a second thought — she's the puppy who notices, feels, and forms meaningful connections.

One of the smaller puppies in her litter, February is currently tracking to mature around 35–40 pounds and has a beautiful curly coat that gives her that classic teddy bear Goldendoodle look.

What makes February so special is her combination of emotional awareness and resiliency. She pays attention to the people around her, naturally seeks connection, and wants to be close to the ones she trusts. At the same time, she has shown the ability to recover, adapt, and continue moving forward when life presents something new.

She's the kind of puppy who thrives in partnership.

The kind who follows you from room to room because she genuinely enjoys being with you.

The kind who looks at you like you're her whole world.

February isn't looking for just any home. She's looking for her people — a family who will appreciate her thoughtful nature, nurture her gifts, and enjoy the incredible bond she has to offer.

For the right family, she won't just be a dog.

She'll be a best friend, a shadow, and a constant source of unconditional love.

We got some beautiful new pictures of February today, and somehow they make it even harder not to fall in love with her.

If you've been waiting for a puppy with a beautiful heart, a strong desire for connection, and a temperament that truly shines, February may be the one you've been waiting for.

Hades

Our last available AKC Golden Retriever puppy — and he’s ready to head home now.

At 8 weeks old, Hades is stepping into one of the best stages to join a family:
summer adventures, new routines, travel, outings, and everyday life alongside his people.

He’s thoughtful, people-focused, affectionate, and naturally settles into connection.

The kind of puppy that wants to follow along, be included, and experience the world with you.

As spring comes to a close, so do our spring litters 🌿🐾

Some of these puppies are already heading home, some are preparing for their next adventures… and we still have availability heading into summer.

Honestly, this might be one of our favorite times to bring home a puppy.

School is wrapping up.
The weather is changing.
Adventure season is just beginning.

And these puppies will be perfectly timed to grow right alongside all those summer memories.

Camping trips.
Farmer’s markets.
Patio lunches.
Creek days.
Road trips.
Long evenings outside.

These are summertime adventure buddies in the making ☀️🐾

And somehow… summer litters are already arriving.

Saoirse has officially started showing signs of labor, we’ve had a temperature drop, and puppies are expected within the next 24 hours 🐾

We’re expecting a small, colorful Goldendoodle litter and cannot wait to meet them.

Still ahead this summer:
🐾 Saoirse’s Petiye Goldendoodles
🐾 Velma’s AKC Golden Retrievers

We also currently have puppies that are 8 weeks old and ready to head home now.

If you’ve been thinking about adding a puppy to your family before summer adventures really kick off, now is the perfect time to reach out 🌿

Such an important message 🐾

Dogs are almost always communicating long before they growl or react.

Learning to recognize the quiet signs can completely change the way we support and advocate for them.

Before a dog growls, lunges, or snaps (the “shout”), they are almost always communicating in “whispers.” These are the subtle, easily missed changes in their body language:

⏺️ Whites of the eyes showing - A whale eye

⏺️ A brief lip lick or yawn when they aren’t tired

⏺️ Walking away

⏺️ A slow, low tail wag that looks more like hesitation than joy

When we miss or ignore the whispers, dogs are forced to turn up the volume to get their point across. By learning to read the quiet moments, we can step in, advocate for them, and keep everyone safe and comfortable.

What’s a “whisper” your dog frequently uses? 👇

Just a little free play. First the pool, get good and wet, then the dirt. Applesauce and popcorn

Just a yes or no 👀

Is this expression concerning?

😁 YES
🐾 NO

Disney is a Golden Retriever, and this is her “smile.”

It can look intense if you don’t know what you’re seeing — all teeth, squinty eyes, big expression — but for some dogs, this is actually a sign of excitement and happiness.

Context matters.

Body language matters.

A wagging body, loose movement, soft eyes, playfulness, and the situation surrounding the behavior all help tell the real story.

Not every showing of teeth is aggression… and not every wagging tail means a dog is comfortable either 🐾
