📢 Let me say this so that everyone in the back can hear

Dog bites do not happen out of the blue!

Dogs give many subtle signs before they escalate to defensive behavior.

Recognizing early cues like yawning, lip licking, and turning away can prevent stress and conflict.

Understanding dog body language can help you avoid your dog experiencing unnecessary stress - keep them (and everyone else safe)

Ignoring a service dog and letting it do it’s job: Cool.

Trying to distract a service dog and it resulting in missing an important trigger from its disabled handler: Not cool.

Videos from a training session, working leave it for the first time. Mom was a little nervous due to sharp puppy teeth.

From a recent training session. Working on getting him to find his owners phone when it rings, due to hearing loss. This was the end of the session so he wasn't as quick to "find" the phone.

Some video's from visiting snow last week(went on Tuesday & Wednesday). Was a great opportunity to work on off leash recall with some clients dogs & for them to get some pent-up energy out with all the rain we've been having.
The 2 chocolate labs(bella & noah) have been working with off leash recall for a while now & was their first encounter with snow on Tuesday.
The white dog Luca went on Wednesday & was her first time working off leash & seeing snow. She was 100% perfect & I can't wait to continue working with her off leash skills. Been training with her & her mom for about a year.

Did some outside training with a clients pup Luca. Her first time out on the trail and she did great. Was working on waiting with come & stay. Working towards off leash training which is why she's on a 50ft leash. Was also a 2 mile hike.

Some work at civita dog park with a client. Did some agility work, but mainly was working on socialization, recall with distractions and exercise. Her pup did so good with everything.

Body language is critical when teaching your dog. Every owner should learn some key signs, to know how to enter act with your dog or another dog.
Also knowing how kids should act with dogs. Dogs give us plenty of signals that they are stressed or anxious its up to us to understand & help our pups.
