🚨 NEW DOG TRAINER BIO🚨

I’ve always been a dog lover and fascinated by working with them. Growing up, I was constantly teaching our pet dogs a trick or two. As an adult, I got my first dog, he came with some behavioral issues. Working through those challenges with him gave me the confidence and clarity that this is what I’m meant to do.

We’d always get compliments and people would ask me to train their dogs. Whether it’s puppy training or off-leash obedience, there’s a natural vibe I give off that dogs respond to, it’s a gift. I truly love what I do. I cherish every dog that comes in; they’re not just dogs in training, they become family to me. That bond we build and the progress we make together, it means everything. 🐶🙏🏽

Meet Michelle, our newest dog trainer in Cosmo K9 Obedience!! Enjoy reading her Bio! 🐾

Dogs have always been my greatest passion, ask anyone who knows me. With guidance from Cosmo K9 and inspiration from my late heart dog, Obie, I’ve found my calling in dog training. He taught me the power of unconditional love and the importance of showing up fully for the ones who depend on us.

Now, with my pup Ketchup by my side, I’m helping dogs and their humans build lasting bonds through trust, communication, and consistency.

** STORY TIME!! **

Blues story is very unique amongst many others. A rescue called me last minute to rush to a vet hospital that was scheduled to put Blue down forever. Without knowing to many details about the dog, I didn’t think I was going to get there on time. Luckily, they were running behind schedule. The universe saw me coming. I managed to pick him but he was fully sedated. Barley awake. I couldn’t make a proper behavioral assessment. He was known to be “aggressive” towards dogs and humans. Well, a day after, he was fully awake. I can see Blue. A misunderstood big ass puppy that looks intimating. You can’t even imagine how many dogs I’ve come across that has been on death row and nearly killed off, all because they are “misunderstood”. Before taking a dog to a kill shelter, hire a professional dog BEHAVIORALIST to assess your dog before giving up completely. You’ll be surprised how amazing your dog really is after some guidance through training.

Thanks to she’s on the path to adopting Blue while we are doing several private lessons. Lots of positive energy here! Thank you!

How do we at Cosmo K9 Obedience keep your dogs cool while being outside?

- I have Canopies in every direction that the sun will travel.
- Pea gravel is used beneath the shaded canopies that helps keep it cool throughout the warm/hot days.
- Also have raised netted dog cots that will keep all your dogs off the ground when they want to lay down.
- I keep 4, 1 gallon bowls in different spots under the shade to keep all your dogs hydrated.
- We will also have pool days with the water hose spray off the dogs that love chasing water.

You can trust us facilitating your dog during a board and train. 😊🙌🏽
