Photos from the APOTC picnic on the Victoria Princess dinner cruise on Monday, July 7, 2025
This year the members of APOTC decided to take a dinner cruise on the Victoria Princess instead of a picnic.
Twenty four members in attendance enjoyed dinner and a riverboat ride on Lake Erie. The meal was buffet style with the crew serving the delicious food.
We were able to move about the boat with the captain explaining different landmarks for the people attending the 2 hour ride.

Admiral Perry Obedience Training Club sponsored a booth at the Seawolves game on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 in order to promote our obedience classes. This was bring your dog to the ball game.
There was a wide variety of dogs that attended this event.

On the evening of May 5th, Corry Police Dog. Miso was sworn in as an official member of the Corry Police Department. Admiral Perry Obedience Training Club supported this endeavor with a donation towards a K9 Heat Alarm System for the vehicle that will transport Miso. Five members from APOTC were present for the swearing in. Beth Rapp, President, Ann Gehrlein, Recording Secretary, Sandy Globa, Board Member, Diane Clark and Amy Mc Garvey members. Admiral Perry Obedience Training Club winter classes are about to end. This week graduation will take place. Nine puppies of all sizes and shapes will be completing the Puppy Class and
7 Beginner dogs will also finish.

On April 24th new classes will begin and last for 8 weeks. Puppy and Beginner Classes have a few openings left. If interest call

Admiral Perry At The EKC Show

Admiral Perry Obedience Training Club had a booth at the EKC Show last weekend. We had a great time talking to old friends and meeting new people.

Beth, worked on Friday to get the booth ready.
Melanie, Sue, Sandy and Phyllis, club members worked the booth during the weekend.

Two of our APOTC members showed their dogs in Beginner Novice and Novice Rally.
Diane with Riggs on the left and Deb with Kira on the right. They both received qualifying scores in Obedience and Rally. Congratulations!

On January 14th, 2025 Admiral Perry Obedience Training Club had its 2024 Annual Award Banquet at the Colony Pub and Grille in Erie. It was a great evening despite a very snowy trip for many members. Fortunately by the time we were ready to leave the snow subsided. A big thanks to Marilyn and Betsy making the evening a huge success.

There were many Agility titles along with Scent Work, Barn Hunt, Fast CAT and Fit Dog titles.

We also celebrated Member Anniversaries.

On Tuesday, September 10, 2024, the Admiral Perry Obedience Training Club presented the Corry Police Department with a check for $2,700. The money will be used to purchase equipment for a new police vehicle to keep the police canine safe from excess heat when the officer is away from his vehicle.
