was organized in 1945 and registered as a non-profit corporation in 1965. APOTC is the oldest dog training club of its kind in Northwestern Pennsylvania. Members train and show their dogs in AKC obedience trials and other events such as agility, rally, tracking and conformation. Because we are united in the belief that a well-trained dog is a well-loved dog, APOTC holds obedience classes. Instruct

ors are club members who have trained and earned obedience titles on their own dogs. Our goal is to enable you to train your dog to be a well-behaved pet, making it a more valuable member of your family. President: Lee-Ann Czytuck

On July 18, 2026, APOTC conducted Canine Good Citizen testing for 10 dogs, as well as an evaluation for one dog for Therapy Dogs United.
The group represented an excellent collection of working dogs, and APOTC was privileged to have the opportunity to evaluate them. Of the dogs tested, seven were AKC registered, plus three All American Dogs.

Admiral Perry Obedience Training Club celebrated a wonderful summer Italian dinner cruise aboard the Victoria Princess on Thursday, July 16, 2026.
The passengers enjoyed being serenaded with tunes by Frank Sinatra like New York, New York and I did it my way. Everyone enjoyed the festive evening together, making the most of the occasion despite the smoke from the Canadian fires.
