Can you guess what they all have in common?
They are all rescues searching for their forever homes! 🐾🧡

We work very closely with local shelters and rescue organizations. Every one of these pups have been working extremely hard at learning to have the best manners. I'll be making videos showing each one of their awesome personalities over the next week or so.

Working on overall manners: ☑️

Obedience commands such as recall, sit, etc: ☑️
Learning how to be groomed/get their nails done: ☑️
Crate AND potty training:☑️!
Overall socialization: ☑️

Seriously, all of these dogs are awesome and someone will be extremely lucky to call them their own one day.

I like to feed dogs in their crates because not only does this give them their own space to eat without distractions but it builds crate value at the same time.

Meet Heath and Wilbur, the Corsicana pups! 🐶

Once these guys learn some more valuable life skills, they will be available for adoption through the Corsicana Animal Shelter. Both of them are super sweet and are very willing to learn. 🐾

Whoever is lucky enough to adopt these boys will also receive 3 free private sessions, a take home session, and lifetime support!

From the shelter:

So, we’re trying something new and would like to see if our community will support us in this endeavor. Both Heath and Wilbur have had a rough past and it weighed heavily on them in the kennel environment.
Mistreated and lacking confidence in themselves, these boys couldn’t seem to overcome their fears in order to come out of their shells and meet adopters.
Staff and volunteers alike saw the potential in these boys, and everyone knew they needed a second chance.
MK9 has offered to do a contract with the shelter where they come in, train the dogs on location that can be helped while staying in the shelter environment, but also take dogs that need a little extra TLC, like Heath and Wilbur here, back for a more extensive training experience.
In order to be able to continue to help dogs like Heath and Wilbur, donations are needed to cover their training. If successful in raising these donations, we hope to enlist MK9 in the future to help pups like these get the help they need to become the best dogs they can.
