Check out Miss Cleo doing her thing!
Her favorite thing is to run as fast as she can and slide through the pea gravel π€£
Acella LOVES the cold weather π
I like to feed dogs in their crates because not only does this give them their own space to eat without distractions but it builds crate value at the same time.
This girl knows the game π€£
Is she not the cutest little thing!? π
Short quick fun session for Keelan on his potty break!
This big dude can be a little unconfident sometimes so I'm rewarding him for his excitement to work with me. I don't care if his positions were perfect or not as long as he was happy to comply.
That recall though ππ€©
3 rescue pups are all going back home this weekend! Pancho and Charlie have already been living together. Benji will be the newbie and will work on integrating into his new pack.
All of them have different personalities and motivations so making sure to switch back and forth between them is important.
We like dogs that bite π

This goofball loves her crate so much that Im able to use it as a reward π€£
Rewards don't always have to be food, toys, or affection. It can literally be anything.
This is Calcifer.
Calcifer likes sticks.
Calcifer LOVES logs π
His drive has been so high for this log that I've been able to start drive capping his obedience when it's being used as a reward.
He is obsessed! π€£
Quick recall for Calcifer during his play break today!
This is what training looks like! Remember, it's not some crazy bootcamp style session each day. It's random things thrown in throughout the day here and there that add up in the end.
Training time is all the time! Sessions don't have to be boot camp style. This is what my training usually looks like once a dog has somewhat of an understanding of what different commands mean. Combining play and learning teaches dogs that listening and working with you is fun!
