Marshmallow had such an exhausting week that he just plopped down in the middle of all the hustle and bustle to take a nap at one point. He was so zonked out that he didn't even notice when we put his toy on top of him. He has such a hard life! Very sad! 😿

We had a young German Shepherd rushed into our hospital just yesterday for heat stroke after being left in his owner's car for a short time. Tragically, this dog was already deceased by the time he got to us. 💔😥

Most recent statistics show 500+ HEARTWORM (+) dogs in NY, and those are just reported cases! That's the highest incidence range possible, so this disease is no longer just a southern problem. As the old saying goes, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. 💔

Super important warning from one of our clients regarding XYLITOL as an ingredient in some baby wipes. Most of you know by now that xylitol is HIGHLY TOXIC to dogs, but this is an odd product to find it in. (Apparently xylitol has humectant properties in addition to being an artificial sweetener.)
