What is it? ๐Ÿค”
- A disease that affects puppies and unvaccinated dogs. ๐Ÿ•

What are the symptoms? ๐Ÿค”
- Diarrhea (sometimes bloody), vomiting, lack of appetite, and lethargy.

How is it spread? ๐Ÿค”
- The primary source of infection, is the f***s of an infected dog. An infected dog will shed the virus before they start showing symptoms, and will continue for about 14 days after symptoms resolve. โ€ผ๏ธ

How can it be prevented? ๐Ÿค”
- Vaccinating! ๐Ÿ’‰
Make sure your puppies are coming in for their vaccines/boosters! ๐Ÿถ
- Keep your puppies/unvaccinated dogs from public spaces until they are fully vaccinated.

๐Ÿ’‰ While not as common, adult dogs can also become infected with the parvovirus. So make sure your adult dog is coming in for their vaccines as well! ๐Ÿพ

๐Ÿพ If your fur baby is experiencing diarrhea, vomiting, or lethargy, please get them seen right away! ๐Ÿพ๏ฟผ
