We are located in Ellicott City, Maryland Small Miracles Cat & Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3) animal welfare nonprofit focused on finding adoptive homes for stray, surrendered, abandoned and/or homeless cats and dogs in Howard County, Mary

land, and beyond. Small Miracles has helped find adoptive homes for thousands of cats, kittens, dogs and puppies since 2006. We have a robust network of volunteers and foster homes who provide needy animals with shelter, socialization, training and necessary veterinary care in preparation for adoption. Adoption fees:
Cats - $100
Kittens - $155
Dogs - $350
Microchips for adopted animals available for $30 with lifetime registration. Cardboard carriers are available for $5. Adoptable animals have received a vet exam, vaccines, spay/neuter surgery, flea and tick treatment, de-wormer and stool check. Cats are tested for feline leukemia and feline AIDS. Dogs are tested for heartworm.

Novi wondering where all the puppy adopters were yesterday??? We'll have puppies at the shelter today 12-3 & puppies/mamas at Sapwoods Cellars tonight 5-7! This kid has a personality as big as his ears. He’s happy to have a dog friend (SUPER dog friendly) he’s outstanding in play groups!

He’s 9 months old and needs basic training- but we think he’d make a perfect family dog.

We currently have 16 available puppies in foster care, and 8 of them are scheduled to come in for shelter adoption hours on Saturday from 11-4! Can't make it in or want to see all of the puppies we have available? Visit our website at www.smallmiraclesrescue.org - you can email your application in advance or instead of coming in.

We also have some really great young adult dogs at the shelter (and in foster care) - including the "N" litter's sweet mama, Nancy. Volunteer walkers were raving about her earlier today. 🥰

Sweet Handsome Poe is still looking for his soft place to land.

After an FHO surgery and a lengthy recovery, Poe is ready to snuggle up and find his forever people.

Poe does well with all ages, sizes & dogs! Cats unknown.

He is trainable, motivated & just a super sweet well rounded dog. He’s about 40lbs & thiccc (in a good way he’s got some muscles on him)

His generous and wonderful fosters have offered to pay his adoption fee (they are running out of time fostering him and would love to see him make it to his forever place!)
