Full shelter adoption hours are 11am-4pm today (Saturday) and noon to 3pm tomorrow (Sunday).

Join us at Ales & Tails TODAY (Friday) from 4-7 pm in Sykesville! Frog, Crystal, Georgia, Wednesday, Josie, Gracie and Dobby are coming to meet you. PLUS shelter favorite Bruno is going on a field trip and will be there until a little after 5!

Free admission for all (you don't need to be a Carroll County resident), live music, dog trick-or-treat trail & costume contest, food trucks, local vendors, and a beer garden.

Our very first adoption from the cat cafe.
Just opened less than two weeks ago and a fabulous place to visit. Small miracles are supplying the cats.
It’s amazing to see our babies running free and loving every moment.
If you would like to visit the cat cafe look for “luna’s cat collective”. You need to book on line. I have seen kids sitting on the bed with five cats laying around her. They also offer drinks and pastry’s and they are delicious.
I wish all the best to the owners and hopefully it will increase the number of kitties finding their forever homes.

Give a pup a break from the shelter THIS SUNDAY with Fido Field Trips!

From 9 am–noon, you can take a dog out for a walk, explore a park, or even enjoy couch snuggles at home. With lots of dogs here (and more arriving Friday), we should be able to match every volunteer with a pup!

Hey Carroll County friends!!! We are excited to be heading your way tomorrow (FRIDAY) from 4-7 pm to participate in Ales & Tails at the South Carroll Dog Park in Sykesville! We'll be bringing a bunch of adoptable puppies + a couple dogs from the shelter.

Rheanna , Katie , Melissa & Diana are the familiar faces you see doing the unimaginable❤️

They are not only our techs for our surgery clinic, they also run all the dog transports/intakes at the shelter!
