Meet Molly 🐾one of our longest residents!

If you want to make a real difference in a shelter dog's life, consider the ones who have been waiting the longest! This girl has watched so many others find homes, and it's her turn to be chosen.

Can't adopt but still want to help? We're also looking for foster homes! Giving any of our pups a break from shelter life would make all the difference in the world.

Stop by the shelter to meet her, or fill out an application online and email it to [email protected]. 💌

🐾 Happy Animal Shelter Appreciation Week! ❤️

Behind every wagging tail, every second chance, and every successful adoption is a team of dedicated people who give so much of themselves to help animals in need.

From cleaning kennels and providing daily care to comforting scared animals, advocating for those who cannot speak for themselves, and celebrating every forever-home story, the work of animal shelter staff and volunteer is truly a labor of love.

And it doesn't stop when the day is over. A piece of their hearts goes home with them, thinking about the animals still waiting for their chance.

To our incredible staff, volunteers, and foster families: THANK YOU! Your compassion, commitment, patience, and endless dedication make a difference every single day. Because of you, animals get the love, care, and second chances they deserve.

Small Miracles Cat and Dog Rescue couldn't do this without you. Today, we celebrate YOU! 🐶🐱❤️
We would welcome new staff, fosters and volunteers!

We will be offering Fido Field trips the next THREE Sundays: November 8, 15 & 22 from 9-12pm!

Give one of our shelter pups a much needed break from their kennels. Whether it’s a hike, a trip for a pup cup, or just relaxing at home, a few hours outside of the shelter can make a huge difference! You can also share photos/videos of the dog, which can help them get adopted faster.

Interested in helping? Please complete a volunteer application on our website and email it to [email protected]

URGENT
Need Rescue for this dog from Atlanta. A friend of the family was in the subway in Atlanta and saw this man dragging this dog along the subway. He was trying to sell it as a bait dog, but the family member stood up and asked him how much money he wanted for it. He said he wanted $15 so he could buy w**d. She gave him the money and took the dog home and now urgently needs to get it up to Maryland where we could find it the home she deserves.
Can anybody help this dog to get from Atlanta to Ellicott City.
She says the dog is terrified and she has fed it and it has been to the bathroom and now it is fast asleep.
Please text Moira on 410-935-1180 if you have any ideas. Thank you.
