Whiskey is 4 now, and getting to watch the horse I picked out as a baby turn into the gelding standing beside me is one of the best feelings there is.

We can throw a saddle on, get our hands dirty, work hard, ride harder… and still clean up, put on the boots and turquoise, and head downtown feeling like a million bucks.

Today was a big milestone for this handsome guy… his very first time wearing a saddle. 🤎🐴

Meet Styles, the foal out of my mare, Sister. Watching him grow from the day he was born to reaching moments like this has been incredibly rewarding.

He handled his first saddling like a champ, and I couldn’t be more excited to begin his training journey. There’s something special about starting with a horse from the very beginning and watching them grow into the partner they’re meant to be.

Here’s to the first of many milestones, Styles. The adventure is just getting started. ✨
