Eeek, this is exciting! For anyone who has rehabilitated a horse with an injury, you know what a great deal this is!

Shockwave Therapy is a non-invasive treatment that is used to address musculoskeletal pain and soft tissue injuries in horses. High pressure created by acoustic waves triggers healing factors such as increased blood flow and enhanced delivery of nutrients and oxygen, which are essential for tissue repair. Stimulating pain receptors can also decrease their sensitivity, helping your horses comfort level.

Lakeshore Family,
It is with a mix of excitement and nostalgia that I share I will be stepping back from Lakeshore to embark on a new professional journey.
To our clients, I want to express my heartfelt appreciation for each and every one of you for the trust you have had in myself and the program we've built here at Lakeshore thus far. It has been a fulfilling few years collaborating with you and your veterinarians in order to develop the best possible plan to get your horses through the challenges of rehabilitating unexpected injuries or taking them to the next level in competition with enhanced conditioning. I have truly enjoyed getting to know you all and have loved each of your horses like they're my own. It has been an honor to continuously see, hear and read of your successes that Lakeshore has had a part in!
To the doctors, you have all made me feel like such an important part of the team with each horse you have trusted me with and I have gained so much from your generosity! I can't thank the doctors of CWEH enough for constantly sharing their knowledge, offering guidance, exchanging ideas and answering my endless questions when I want to know every detail about a specific case. To our referring doctors, thank you so much for choosing Lakeshore Equine for your clients and their horses! I know the team will continue to provide the best possible care for them.
To the CWEH team, I love you all like family and thank you for all of your hard work with Lakeshore. You have been instrumental in the day-to-day operations on top of everything you do for CWEH!
Bill and Dr. Bergevin, thank you both for believing in me. This experience has given me the opportunity to learn skills I will value forever. There just aren't words to properly express how much I appreciate you both for your support over the last few years and moving into this next chapter.
I will stay on the team for some relief work, but that being said, we are looking for my replacement! I will be here to provide training for as long as it's needed in order to confidently step away. If you have the knowledge and passion for equine conditioning and rehabilitation, this is an incredible opportunity for you! These warm days have all the horses excited for their aquatread sessions! 🤗

Our water is chilled to about 45 degrees. So not only are they getting an incredible low impact workout, they are also recieving cold water therapy during every session which helps reduce pain and inflammation!
