Yogi is such a sweet boy! He has been charming us all with that adorable face and friendly personality! 💙

Today is the day Yogi begins his surgery journey
This is where your donations go!

14 days ago, Yogi got loose. After hours of searching, we got the call—someone had him.

He had jumped from the overpass where 390 & 290 split… a 30-foot drop. Witnesses thought he was a coyote. He landed on his front legs.

Strangers stopped. Stayed. Got him to the ER.
Yogi had guardian angels that night.

Now he’s facing multiple surgeries and a long recovery… but today, healing begins.

After surgery today, he’ll head to his foster home to recover and then come back on surgery on the other leg—and when he’s ready, we’ll find him the forever home he deserves for his golden years.

Elk Grove Veterinary Specialty and Emergency is excited to share our new partnership with Midwest Veterinary Surgical Services (MVSS) and Dr. Aaron Jackson!

Elk Grove VSE has always offered emergency surgery, and that hasn’t changed. What is new is expanded access to a board-certified surgeon who can perform more advanced procedures, including orthopedic surgeries.

MVSS will be onsite at EGVSE two days a week.
• For elective surgery questions, clients can contact MVSS directly
• For emergency surgery, please continue to call Elk Grove VSE
