Guess what!? 👀We have one of our favorite photographers joining us this weekend. Please help us welcome him!

Photos will be available in packages for purchase after the event. More information to follow.

With a passion for photography dating back to the early 2000s, his journey began as a wildlife photographer, capturing the beauty, power, and untamed spirit of the natural world. Over time, that passion evolved into a love for the equine industry and the western way of life.

His involvement in the equine world began in 2023 when he photographed Colorado Horse Rescue’s PEAK Trainer Challenge. He returned in 2024 and 2025 to capture the challenge, along with CHR’s Mane Event. In 2025 and 2026, he photographed the Meeker Mustang Makeover, documenting the remarkable partnerships between mustangs and their trainers.

In late 2025, he expanded into rodeo and barrel racing, photographing the Pioneer Rodeo, and continued building his rodeo portfolio in 2026 with the Elizabeth Stampede. His work also includes the Messer Arena Youth Rodeo and the Messer Arena Winter Buckle Series, capturing the next generation of competitors alongside the dedication and athleticism that define the sport.

His photography focuses on the action, emotion, and authentic moments that make every event unique. From the intensity of competition and the split-second timing of a winning run to the behind-the-scenes moments shared between horses, riders, and their communities, he strives to tell the stories that make the western lifestyle special.

Through his lens, his goal is to preserve the grit, passion, and tradition of the rodeo and equine world, capturing moments l that happen in an instant but deserve to last a lifetime.

Meet the judges for Boos & Buckles part 2️⃣!

Not only a great friend of Caprock Equine but an established and successful horsewoman, please help us welcome Elizabeth Pallardy 🎉:

Elizabeth Pallardy has been pursuing her passion for horses from a young age. Her equestrian background spans a variety of disciplines, from competing on the hunter/jumper circuit and starting c**ts to playing polo for the University of Kentucky, where she earned a B.S. in Equine Science and Management.

When she isn’t piloting horses in eventing horse trials and hunter/jumper competitions, Elizabeth competes with her personal horses in Working Equitation. She has earned both Pewter and Bronze Lifetime Medalist Awards and is currently working toward her Silver Medalist Award.

Elizabeth believes that every horse should have a solid foundation built on trust and confidence in their handler as a leader. She finds great reward in helping horses overcome challenges and develop the skills they need to thrive. Above all, Elizabeth is passionate about being part of each horse’s journey toward a happy, healthy, and successful life.

There are still a few spot left, so be sure to secure yours before it fills! Have questions? Message us!

Meet our judges for Boos & Buckles 👻🐴

First up is a great friend and supporter of Caprock Equine, Nathan Shutts!

Nathan Shutts is a 4th-generation Coloradan with deep roots in the land, agriculture, and western lifestyle that define Colorado living. Born and raised in Parker, Colorado, Nathan discovered his passion for the equine industry early on, working on a ranch throughout high school and gaining firsthand experience with horses, land stewardship,
and agricultural operations.

He went on to attend Colorado State University, where he briefly studied Equine Science before earning a degree in Communications with a minor in Agricultural Literacy. It was at CSU where Nathan met his wife, Hannah, and further solidified his connection to agriculture and the western industry. After graduation, Nathan continued his career in agriculture, working hands-on in ranch operations and later becoming the Manager of Beef Sales and Marketing for a family-owned, regenerative agriculture cattle operation. Through this role, he developed a deep appreciation for sustainable land use, stewardship, and the lifestyle tied to working land.

That passion ultimately led Nathan to real estate, where he found his true calling— helping others secure not just property, but a way of life. Today, Nathan is a Realtor with
Compass and a member of a top-producing team, serving as an equine and acreage property specialist. He works with everyone from first-time buyers to seasoned ranchers, guiding clients through complex land and horse property transactions with clarity and confidence.

Nathan’s mission is simple: to help clients find a place they can call home—and build a legacy—while navigating the real estate process with expertise, integrity, and a deep
understanding of Colorado’s land and lifestyle.

Please help us welcome Nathan to our judges panel! 👏

Lesson time on Macho. Soccer was a great way to give this kiddo some direction under saddle. Look at these little athletes! 5yo (horse) and 8yo (kiddo)

Haven

This 4-year-old pinto from Terolyn Horse Rescue, inc. has been a blast to work with
She came in with a few rides under her belt but had some time off while recovering from an injury. Now that she is healed and back in work, she is proving to be a fun, willing young mare under saddle.
She has been picking up the basics quickly, carrying herself well, and gaining confidence with each ride. She is soft, athletic, and showing a great mind as she continues to learn.
We are excited about this girl’s progress and look forward to seeing what she can do as her training continues.

Clover aka Johnna Cena. This is the horse that suplexed me when she ran off and slipped in the barn alley on maybe our 15th ride.

Scott Guynn and I have each been riding her since he was hired on and I think having two riders working with her consistently has done her a world of good. Here she is trying out for the Caprock Equine LLC soccer team. I would like her to transition out of wrestling.

She is owned by Wild Hearts Haven and is available for adoption!
