It's a profound truth: change is power.
It's the engine of transformation, the force that shifts situations from one state to another.

In the context of shelter pets, this resonates deeply. Every small action—donating, volunteering, fostering, or adopting—contributes to a wave of change that can entirely redefine a animal's life. It's the power to alter their story from one of uncertainty to one of safety, love, and a forever home.

To those who support us, thank you. You are actively making a difference.

To those who may not know us well, we invite you to exercise your power by supporting Safe Haven and it's mission.

Warning! We have an 🌶Extra Spicy Cat Companion🌶 seeking an escape from shelter life.

We have tried calming Tommy's fiery side with a never ending supply of Churu treats, but he is completely done with us.

This little dynamo has big opinions and isn't afraid to share them. If you've ever wanted a cat with the sass of a dragon and the soul of a misunderstood poet, Tommy is your guy.

šŸ’„Not into cuddles? Perfect. He'll supervise you from a distance.

šŸ’„Want a cat that keeps life interesting? He's got daily plot twists.

šŸ’„Need someone to keep your other pets humble? He's a professional.

He may have a spicy streak, but deep down, we know there's a soft little heart just waiting for the right person - someone who speaks fluent cattitude and appreciates a king in his element.

You see, Tommy was born with a deformed front paw. Cats in his previous home could tell there was something different and would gang up on him. He has lost his trust in others and has resorted to trickery. He will lure you in for pets and then bap you for trying.

He's a legend, and deserves a castle.

Think you can handle the heat? Apply to adopt Tommy at www.safehavenforpets.org - if you dare. šŸ”„

DIXON POLICE DEPARTMENT SEEKS PUBLIC’S HELP LOCATING MISSING K-9

The Dixon Police Department is requesting the public’s urgent assistance in locating our missing K-9, Vesuc. Vesuc, a German Shepherd, was last seen around 1:00 a.m. in the area of West Graham Street in Dixon. He is 80 pounds and was wearing a black collar.
