EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY ANNOUNCEMENT: Black Horse Farm is sad to announce that our Barn Manager, and Head Groom, Meredith Lee is leaving to pursue new opportunities out of State. Meredith has become “family” to me and my animal clan at the farm. Meredith will be deeply missed. Meredith’s care and expertise of my horses has exceeded all expectations, and my horses have thrived. I enjoyed and benefited from her companionship as a team member. I support Meredith’s pursuits 100%, and know that she will achieve all of her life goals. I wish her all success and happiness. I will always be ready and willing to provide any support Meredith might ever need in the future. I am hopeful that Meredith will visit often and join us on hunting and riding adventures for years to come! Black Horse Farm is always “open” to Meredith!

NOW HIRING BARN HELP AND HORSE GROOM: As a result of this news, Black Horse Farm is seeking barn help. Job duties to be filled include stall cleaning, horse grooming, and depending on experience, daily riding opportunities on our fabulous string of sport horses. PART-TIME and FULL-TIME position currently available depending on applicant’s availability and expertise. [Hunt Membership with The Massbach Hounds included for qualified individual]. Horse experience necessary, although riding expertise is not necessarily a requirement. Opportunity depends on the applicant’s level of experience. Good Pay and Flexibility. BLACK HORSE FARM: The farm is an equestrian training facility and home to our four Sport-Horses. The farm includes an indoor and outdoor riding arena, 10-acre XC field, and dressage arena. Farm tour by appointment.

Saturday's hunt can be described as a pleasant and lovely ride following the hounds over the amazing countryside of The beautiful Hidden Hollow Farm, Massbach IL. Cash was his usual "brilliant" self, always "asking" to get closer to the hounds.😉🐶 Sunshine, Fall colors, great friends, great horses, and amazing hounds. That was Saturday.🐶🐴🍂🍁

Creating an exciting weekend of hunting in Massbach IL. What a great group of friends, all contributing to the fun. The weekend was filled with a bit of everything, all centered around the amazing hounds, exciting riding, food, drink, and friendship!

A gorgeous Fall day out with the Massbach Hounds. The dry season is not yet bringing "fast & furious", but Huntsman, Tony Leahy keeps the hounds on their game, and Saturday's ride covered lots of ground over 4.5 hours! Luckily our generous hunt members and hosts, always have a beautiful lunch and beverages waiting back at the meet! ☀️🌾🍂🍁🐶🐴
