Daycare today in a nutshell:
Heat level: toasty
Zoomie level: expert
Nap spots: strategically chosen sunbeams only

Basically, it was a full-on “zoom, flop, sizzle, repeat” situation. The dogs turned into solar-powered chaos gremlins and recharged by melting into puddles of fur in the sun. 10/10 vibes.

*also, Thank goodness for umbrellas and a nice breeze*

S.T.A.R. Puppy Class Spotlight!
Tonight’s class was all about leash manners—and these pups totally nailed it! From polite walking to focused attention, every team showed off their hard work and progress.
We’re so proud of our S.T.A.R. students—these future Canine Good Citizens are on the right track!

Today, we’re celebrating this beautiful planet we all call home — paws, tails, and all! 🌿✨
Our dogs teach us every day to appreciate the little things: a sunny patch of grass, a cool breeze, a splash in a puddle. 🌳🐶

Easter Monday Splash Bash!
We kicked off the week with sunshine, splashes, and wagging tails! The pool was out, the hose was on, and the pups were living their best lives. Nothing says springtime fun like a good water romp with friends!

Hoppin’ by Colonial Canine this Morning!
The Easter Bunny made a surprise stop at Colonial Canine today to spread some tail-wagging cheer! Our boarders were treated to some egg-stra special goodies, and let’s just say—there were lots of happy pups and wiggly tails!

It was a full house at Colonial Canine today—tails wagging, zoomies zooming, and staff may be a little sweaty (ew 😂). Everyone got plenty of playtime, and we’re officially outnumbered by happy, tired dogs. Mission accomplished.

Our boarding crew is rolling in for the weekend and upcoming week, and daycare is packed with playful pups today! Rowan crushed another Train & Play session—go, Rowan!

Wednesday vibes at Colonial Canine!
Our daycare pups are having a blast burning energy, making friends, and soaking up all the tail wags and belly rubs.

We’re also excited to give a big Colonial Canine welcome to Ranger—it’s his first time boarding with us, and he’s already fitting right in! We’re so happy to have you, Ranger!

🌟 Animal Control Officer Appreciation Week 🐾💙
This week, we’re sending a huge thank you to the unsung heroes who work tirelessly behind the scenes to protect and advocate for animals in our community — our Animal Control Officers.

Their job isn’t easy. They face tough situations, difficult decisions, and heartbreaking moments — but they show up, day after day, with compassion, courage, and a deep love for animals and people alike.

Whether it’s rescuing a lost pup, reuniting a family with their beloved pet, or ensuring the safety of our neighborhoods, Animal Control Officers wear many hats — protector, educator, first responder, and often, the voice for those who can’t speak for themselves.

To all the officers out there:
Your dedication does not go unnoticed. You are truly appreciated, not just this week, but every single day.

💚 Thank you for being there for the animals who need you most.
