Big shoutout to Max for absolutely crushing it with his place work lately! 🎓🐾

He's holding his spot like a champ, even with all kinds of distractions going on around him — people, noises, toys, you name it. So proud of his progress and focus!

If you're working on teaching place to your pup, here are a few positive reinforcement tips:

🐾 Start simple: Use a defined mat or bed and reward the moment your pup steps onto it. Keep sessions short and fun.

🐾 Build duration gradually: Add time little by little. Don’t rush it!

🐾 Introduce distractions slowly: Toss a toy, walk around, or make noise — just make sure your pup is still set up for success.

🐾 Use high-value rewards: Treats, praise, or a favorite toy can help make staying on place super rewarding.

🐾 Release with intention: Teach a clear release word like "okay!" so they know when they’re free to leave.

Today was a milestone for our day trainees, Max and Spot, as they attended their very first social group day training session at ABTK9! 🎓🐶
