Starting Wednesday, we will have calming treats available for you to pick up for your pets (while they last). There will be 4 treats per bag and I will put dosage info by the basket. Please only take one bag per pet so others have a chance to get some. This is what we give ours every year on the 4th. They will also need to be inside, of course, so they aren’t scared out of their minds and escaping. I shouldn’t have to say this, but keep in mind there are cameras so please adhere to the 1/pet request.

April will be at Yappy Hour tomorrow, Saturday (6/21) from 11-2. This will be the last time she’s here until August 2nd so if you need your pup’s nails trimmed drop by.

The shelter is in dire need of laundry detergent, Fabuloso, paper towels, & Dawn dish soap. The shelter is full and they are going thru a crazy amount of these items caring for the dogs. Please donate if you can.

April will be at Yappy Hour tomorrow, May 10th, from 11-2 for $10 nail trims. With all the rain and mud we’ve had a good scrubbing and nail trim would probably make your pup feel great! No appointment necessary.

Some of you may have seen where Fur Ever Friends Rescue had a devastating fire this morning. Many, many lives were lost. This is absolutely heartbreaking to everyone who rescues but other rescues and the public are stepping up to try and help. They can, of course, use monetary donations and also food, collars, and leashes for the animals that were spared this morning. If you would like to help you can drop off donations at the dog wash and I will make sure the rescue receives them. Misty with Angel Fund OKC, who puts on the low cost vaccination clinics for us here, was there on scene providing triage when I called her this morning and told me how many dogs didn’t make it out. I’ve been in tears all day. Please help if you can.
