Mace is just looking for some company!

Any company - dog or human, this guy just likes hanging out with friends. With a cool energy about him, this one-year-old Shepherd mix is the perfect pup to kick back and enjoy life with. A fan of toys and treats, he is motivated and eager to please, but heā€™s not one to go too crazy in the play yard. Just walking around and sharing some sniffs or collecting b***y scratches, Mace is pretty easy-going. Heā€™s a bilingual pup who has ā€œsiĆ©nteteā€ down pat, but ā€œsitā€ still eludes him at timesā€¦ Either way, you can trust that heā€™ll sit for a snack or a good hug.

Doesnā€™t that little piggy nose just melt your heart? šŸ½

Meet Rex, the pup who has given so many kisses in his life that his snoot has suffered the consequencesā€¦ Just kidding, heā€™s just a Boxer mix! Those kisses are no joke, though. This affectionate young man has a contagious charisma and an affectionate personality that will soothe your soul. Rexā€™s permanent, goofy smile and people-oriented personality makes it impossible not to love him. While he could definitely get by on his kindness and good looks alone, this well-rounded dude is sweet with other dogs, has experience living with kiddoes (who he LOVES), a good traveler, great on leash, crate-trained, housetrained, and a trainable guy who already knows a handful of cool tricks (shake, come, sit, and ā€œupā€, to name a few)!

At only a year old, Rex seems to have it all together - now all he needs is a furever home. Stop by the Humane Society of El Paso today to meet him!

Okay, well maybe you didnā€™t get to the ā€œHazelā€ part yet, but spoiler alert: Your dream dogā€™s name is Hazel and sheā€™s waiting at the Humane Society of El Paso! This six-year-old girly is very likely the perfect candidate for your home, seeing as she is suited to most homes. Friendly with kiddoes and other pups, smart as a whip with a few tricks (sit, down, and come, to name a few) up her sleeve already, polite on the leash, and already housetrained, Hazel is happy to head home with the first family that accepts a hug from her!

There was a farmer, had a dog, and Bingo was his name - oh!

Well, this guyā€™s name is Ringoā€¦ But staff call him Ringo Bingo sometimes, so that song is basically about him, if you think about it. Meet Ringo, the six-year-old Jack Russell Terrier mix who has been waiting for his Gotcha Day for 164 days. Housetrained, dog friendly, leash trained, treat-motivated, a professional fetch dog, and polite indoors; itā€™s safe to say Ringo has all of the bells and whistles. This handsome, medium-size pup is perfect for anyone who likes to balance play and rest, or anyone who wants a pup that just fits in like heā€™s always been there. Quiet and cuddly, with an outstanding skill for keeping himself occupied while your hands are busy (though, you may have to clean up some toy stuffing after...), Ringo Bingo just makes life easy!

Day Five of Posting Glacier every day until he gets adopted:

Today is all about the most well-known trait of our longest residentā€¦ His affinity for other dogs. Itā€™s no secret that Glacier is a dog you adopt FOR your dog. Heā€™s playful as can be and absolutely obsessed with other pups who love to zoom around, wrestle, splash in the pool, and share toys! Heā€™s made all kinds of friends: young or old, big or small, hyper or chilled-out. After growing up with another dog in the home, Glacier is simply set on becoming pals with any pup that crosses his path. Heā€™s a social butterfly who often takes on the important job of welcoming new dogs to the shelter with open arms during intake and loves meeting furry friends off-site!

Nothing warms our heart quite like the feeling of capturing these precious moments with shelter residents as we cheer them on along their journey to a furver family! Animal Care, Kennel Care, Foster, TNR, Medical, Off-Site, Volunteer, and more: between all of the people who care for these guys during their stay, there are thousands of pictures, videos, and notes of the residents - so we just wanted to share a few of our recent favorites ā¤ļø
