I recently watched 'Pedigree Dogs Exposed', and had a good cry. Thank goodness there are brave people like Jemima Harrison who are willing to run the gauntlet of public criticism for the sake of the unfortunate animals who are suffering from human ignorance. Now if we could only get more breeders who take the time and care to educate themselves and stand up for what is right for their breeds, before it is too late. Bravo to AKC for their Purebred Preservation Bank, but it is not enough. Inbreeding dogs should not be tolerated.

I've been watching my Jane Killion DVDs again (Puppy Culture), and I just can't say enough about her and her training methods. They are awesome!!!! I worked a short lesson with Charlie, and then put him in his crate for a nap. The results are amazing. If you haven't yet bought your own DVDs I can just say they are well worth the investment and are a game-changer in your relationship with your dog(s). I'm rereading her book, When Pigs Fly, too. Good stuff.
