Earlier today we said “Guess what dog breed this paw print is from”. There were some great guesses and the answer is…a Great Dane! Daxx is a biiiig fella with some biiiig paws! Here he is having some fun on the obstacle 🥰

Croix is still hanging strong but he had to put on the cone... Red String Rescue still needs some help getting this guy's surgery covered.

Croix really doesn't like the cone and he says he sends big slobbery kisses to anyone who helps him get it off!

Good morning.

We know people are all going through some challenges right now and we feel awful that we have to keep coming back here asking for you to help us.

If you've been following along you probably have seen some posts about Croix. He is a long time resident of the Red String Rescue sanctuary program. Right now he is facing an uphill battle with a rapidly deteriorating health condition. He has a large mass that has formed on his foreleg and continues to grow. We have to postpone his surgery twice now because we haven't raised enough and its nearly impossible to find vet hospitals who work with rescues. Particularly little known mom and pop organizations like us.

We have been diligently trying to raise funds to cover costs of having this mass removed and him properly evaluated for a long term prognosis. We have received some amazing love and support from our friends and family and even strangers from all over. We are immensely grateful. Yet we are still only about halfway there.

Last night Croix began licking and chewing at the mass which caused it bleed significantly and increase risk of infection.

Croix really needs this mass removed and we are stuck... please share his posts and reels. We are asking for a few bucks from a lot of people so hopefully no one needs to choose between taking care of themselves or helping Croix.

Aww, Merle from 5 years ago and Merle from a week ago 🥹🥰. There’s something so special about the pups that have been with us through all the years. You should see the excitement he has when his mom says “Do you want to go stay with Uncle Brandon?”. While we may not actually be blood-related, we are still very much family and love all the pups like they’re our own 💕

Today is an exciting day for Brody! He has been doing a board & train program with us and today was his day for a meet & greet. They loved him so much, and he did so well, that he “passed the test” and they adopted him! 🥳🥳

Great job, Brody! We’ll miss you, but we are so excited that you get to be with a family that will continue to help you be the most amazing pup you can be!
