🌼💀 In the beautiful Mexican tradition of Día de los Mu***os, October 27th is dedicated to our beloved animal companions who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge. 🐾🌈 It’s the day we prepare to welcome their souls back home, believing that for a little while, the love we shared brings us together again. With marigold flowers to guide their way, candles to light their path, and hearts full of memories, we honor the beautiful souls who made our lives brighter simply by being in them. 🕯️🌼❤️

Because the love we share with our pets never truly dies. Their paws may no longer walk beside us, but their love stays with us in every little corner of our hearts. And maybe, just maybe, on this special day, we’ll feel that familiar warmth, that little presence, that unmistakable feeling that they’re right here with us again. 🐾✨

🍁🍂With the weather just at the end of Summer and looking ahead to Fall, every year I get requests to leave the fur longer on pups that get haircuts as soon as the weather turns cool. ❄️☃️

So before you ask for longer fur take a few minutes to go over all these tips for a successful winter! ❄️

🛷Majority of these requests, the pups don't spend more than 10 mins outside, going to the bathroom. 🐾

🔥 Most could benefit from a sweater vs longer fur. The heat increased in the house with longer fur can keep them uncomfortably warm at times and possibly overheat them.

✨️Here are some tips to avoid a matted shave down and the dreaded price increase it causes.✨️

🐕Longer fur requires more brushing/combing or it will mat. Matted coats will require extra brushing and shaved down to remove the matting. This will required more work which will cause the price of the groom to go up.✂️

Brushing daily at home will prevent all of this.🐶

🏡 Home maintence is a non-negotiable for a pet that gets haircuts.

🆘️If you need help or don't know how please ask! I will happily show you what tools to buy and use, how to do it correctly and safely for you pup and even how often it needs to be done! No shame at all. I love to teach.

🚨Pricing due to matting can easily cause an extra $5-$50+ charge added onto the regular grooming price 👀. 🚨

Everyone can definitely benefit from keeping more💰 in their wallet and spending less! 😅
