With Easter approaching ⚠️ Did you know that lilies (true lilies and daylilies) are FATALLY TOXIC to cats?

Keep lilies out of your home if you have cats as all parts of the lily are considered toxic…even the pollen!

‼️ Many cat owners don’t know this, so sharing this information could save a life this Easter holiday.

If your cat has been exposed to a true lily or daylily, please seek veterinary care immediately as treatment is time sensitive. 🚨

We are excited to welcome Dr. Emily Olund to the team at Westgate Animal Hospital.
Dr. Emily grew up in Rice Lake and graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of veterinary medicine in 2019. She recently moved back to northwestern Wisconsin to be closer to home. Dr. Emily lives with her husband and pets- her dog Lady and two cats Monster and Puck.

Happy Veterans Day to all of those who have served. Especially our very own CVT Kim O’Meara.

Kim served in the US Army Reserve from 2003-2011. Kim was deployed to Baghdad, Iraq OIF from 2006-2007.
