Finding Eden Rescue is rooted in the belief that every animal deserves a life of safety, care, and dignity.

Inspired by the biblical vision of Eden – a place of peace, abundance, and stewardship.

A little enrichment goes a long way, and Mabel is one of our lucky pups benefiting from our 2026 KONG Toy Grant.

Thanks to the generosity of the Petfinder Foundation and KONG, we can provide our pups in foster with more than just a toy. A KONG offers a meaningful outlet for mental enrichment, helping our dogs decompress in a new environment, ease stress and anxiety, and build positive associations with things like crate time and being alone. For our dogs recovering from medical procedures or adjusting to life in a foster home, these simple enrichment tools can make a world of difference.

For Mabel, this KONG is a little something to keep her mind busy, give her a positive outlet, and make her transition into her next chapter that much sweeter.

We're so grateful to the Petfinder Foundation and KONG for investing in the well-being of rescue dogs like Mabel. Every little bit of enrichment helps us give them the second chance they deserve. ❤️

And while Mabel is enjoying her KONG, she's looking for something even better: a forever home! Could that be with you?

It truly does take a village, and we’re SO grateful for ours🤎✨🐾

That these dogs went from a kill list in Houston to arriving in Eau Claire less than two weeks later is a testament to the mission statement of Finding Eden Rescue. The nonprofit hopes for “a world where every animal experiences their own Eden — a life free from fear, hunger, abuse, and neglect,

🐾HAPPY TAILS🐾 to:

Angie — who spent *over a year (!!)* in an overcrowded Texas shelter waiting for someone to notice her, before making her way to Finding Eden and finally finding the forever family she deserved, right here in Wisconsin.💞

Ewok — who underwent life-saving surgery and came out the other side with her sparkle still shining just as bright✨

Matilda — who was involved in a horrible accident that left her previous owner facing an impossible reality of euthanasia. Instead, they chose to surrender her to us, giving Matilda the second chance at a beautiful life she deserves.

Soybean — who made the journey all the way from the Great Plains of South Dakota to Eden, and from there, her next chapter🌾

And Noodle — who found his forever mom at the very workplace of the foster who helped him get where he is today🩵

Five new beginnings & five reminders of why we do what we do. Every journey to Eden looks a little different, but they all lead us back to our same dream — a life where every animal is loved, safe, and deeply cared for.

After getting to know Rafiki over the last couple of months, he has continually said no thank you to the indoor kitty life! We’re officially looking to place him as a barn cat or into a working cat program for a family or business.

We would walk you through the process of integrating a barn cat, but the most important thing is that he will still need love, daily food & water, and time to adjust, just like any other pet. We’d love to place him before winter, so he has enough time to safely adjust to his new barn before cold weather hits Wisconsin.

We’re going international!!✈️

… yes, really! 🙃

We’re looking for fosters who can help us save dogs from Kuwait, where stray dogs face horrific cruelty, including legal poisoning, burning, and shooting by government authorities.

This situation is incredibly dire, and we’re stepping up to help a local partner on the ground who is working tirelessly to get these dogs to safety.

We can’t do this alone.

We need local foster commitments first to get these dogs to safety in America.

Opening our rescue to dogs in need across the world starts with people willing to open their homes.

If you’ve ever considered fostering, this could be your opportunity to make a life-changing difference for a dog who desperately needs it.
