Dear Valued Clients,
First and foremost, thank you so much for your loyalty, kindness, and continued support. It means the world to me. I know many of you are aware that the past year has been a tough one for my health. After breaking my face last year and dealing with the resulting binocular double vision, I'm happy to share that my most recent surgery was successful—it improved my vision by 50% in every direction except downward.
Alongside this, I continue to manage several autoimmune and chronic health conditions. I want to be transparent because your flexibility and compassion help make this business possible. I teach Monday through Wednesday, and I give the rest of my energy to grooming. I deeply appreciate your patience and understanding, especially when I need to reschedule unexpectedly. Please know that I never take those changes lightly—I’m doing my absolute best to keep things going.
That brings me to an important point. In order for my grooming to continue being a business and not be considered just a hobby, I need to make a profit this year. With my health limiting how many clients I can serve—and my commitment to providing one-on-one or in-home care—it means I operate with fewer appointments than other grooming businesses. This is why I’ve been putting more effort into selling my handmade products as well. I’m just one person trying to make it in this increasingly expensive world.
If you’d like to support me beyond your grooming appointments, here are a few ways to help:

Price Updates – Effective July 1st
To keep up with overhead costs like licensing, insurance, quality pet products, and travel, I’ve had to make some small price adjustments:
Nail Trims: $20
Nail Grinding: $30
Cat Nails: $20
Small Animal Nails: $15
Ear Cleaning: $10
Full Grooms: $55/hour for additional time
Come-to-you Fee: $50
These prices reflect what other local in-home and one-on-one grooming services are charging. I understand that money is tight for many of us. If you need to seek a more affordable option, I respect that completely—please know there’s no hard feelings.
But if you can continue to support me in any way, I’d love to keep grooming your beloved pets and making products you love. I’m fighting hard to keep this little dream alive.
With love and gratitude,
Sarah Sherer
