At just 15 pounds and one year old, this little Pomsky girl is proof that big personality can come in a very small package!

Purchased from a Connecticut Pet Store on a whim as a “purebred Pomsky” (which, let’s be honest, is basically a fancy label for a designer mixed breed), she ended up in a home that wasn’t quite prepared for the reality of having another dog. Now, through no fault of her own, she’s looking for a fresh start and a family who understands that cute puppies grow into dogs who need time, attention, and training.

The good news? This girl has plenty of wonderful qualities to bring to her next adventure! She’s crate trained, friendly with the people she meets, and loves other dogs. She’s lived with older children and has also been around toddlers.

What does she need? A family who appreciates her for the fast, funny, energetic little girl she is! Someone who will give her the attention she deserves, help her learn the rules of the house, and finally get her fully housebroken. She’s never really had that foundation, so her new family will need patience, consistency, and a willingness to put in the work.

In return, you’ll get a pint-sized personality with plenty of entertainment, canine companionship, and love to give. She didn’t get the thoughtful start every dog deserves, but we’re hoping her next chapter will be the one that sticks.

Meet Hershey!
Hershey came to us thought to be pregnant, but it turns out she’s just a chunky, chunky girl! 😂
This low-rider sweetheart is an absolute GEM! She’s excellent in the car, wonderful for baths, and loves pets, affection, and all the attention you can give her. She’s also dog-friendly!
Hershey is the sweetest little low rider, and she’s ready to find a family who will spoil her rotten. She is about 3 yrs old.

Our spookily cute little bats are fluttering between two locations, looking for humans to hypnotize with puppy eyes and steal their hearts! 🖤🐾

Tina originally came to the shelter as a tiny puppy with her three siblings. Though she was adopted, unexpected life changes brought her back through no fault of her own. Now, this resilient girl is ready to find her true forever family and begin her next exciting chapter!

House & Crate Trained: Tina is fully housebroken and comfortably crate-trained, making her an easy addition to a home.

Master Snuggler: Her absolute favorite place to be is curled up in front of a warm fireplace on a chilly day or burrowing under the blankets at the foot of the bed at night. Tina loves the comforts of home and being close to her people.

Playful & Active: Tina loves exploring hiking trails, zooming around a securely fenced backyard, and staying active with her people. She’ll be a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys getting outside and making the most of every day.

Smart & Alert: Tina is aware of her surroundings, enjoys spending time with people, and has shown herself to be friendly with visiting neighbors and pet sitters.

Her Ideal Home:
Tina would do best in a home with adults or older, mature children who understand calm, respectful interactions with dogs. She would love a family who can give her plenty of affection, exercise, and a comfortable place to call her own.

Things to Keep in Mind:
Although Tina has lived with other dogs in the past, she has been less comfortable around canine companions in the shelter environment. We want to set Tina and her future family up for lasting success, so we believe she would do best as the only dog in the home at this time. With the right match, a little patience, and time to settle in, Tina can focus on what matters most: being a cherished member of her forever family.

One year old Tina has so much love to give. She’s ready for a fresh start with a family who will love her for who she is and give her the forever home she deserves!

Meet Diane! 🦊🐾

At just 10 months old and only 20lbs, Diane is a happy, energetic girl with a big personality and the cutest fox-like tail! ❤️ Her story started when a family in a rural area witnessed someone dump Diane and her two siblings from a car. Thankfully, they took the puppies in, and now Diane is in our program and looking for a forever family of her own.

Diane loves people, has energy to spare, and enjoys running, playing, and spending time with her humans. She's been around kids who walk her on a leash, making her a wonderful match for a family who can keep up with her enthusiasm. She's not a fan of cats, though, so she'll need a feline-free home.

We aren't quite sure what breeds make up this adorable girl, but there's a chance a little Corgi is hiding somewhere in her family tree.

Diane deserves a family where she can be part of the action and enjoy all the love and companionship a young dog needs. Could she be your new best friend?
