Last year’s Christmas light show raised over 150 donations for the dogs in our care, and that doesn’t even begin to touch the amount of time, effort, and heart that went into it. Every single one of them, especially their boys, worked so hard putting the lights up, making sure the show ran smoothly, and then taking everything back down afterward.

This family doesn’t just show up, they go all in. They remind me that there are truly amazing people out there, and they’re raising their boys to be just as incredible. We are beyond grateful for their kindness, dedication, and support of our rescue and the dogs we love so much. ❤️🐾

Thank you, Homestead Bros, for being such a bright light, literally and figuratively. ✨

✨ Harper’s Happy Ending ✨

Harper’s world changed when her owner passed away. Her brother Jake quickly found his forever home through our courtesy posts, but Harper’s journey took a little longer.

And then… she met her person.
From the very first meeting, the connection was undeniable.

This 7 year old sweet girl is already completely in love with her new dad, and watching her light up has been everything. We knew finding Harper the right match might be a challenge, but it was one we were more than ready to take.

We want to send a huge THANK YOU to KONG 🦴🐾 for donating toys to our rescue! We truly can’t begin to express how thankful we are, and it’s not just us who are grateful, it’s all of the dogs in our care 🐕❤️

We strive every day to make sure our rescues are well cared for, given plenty of time to run, play, and decompress 🐾🎾, and most importantly feel safe and at home while they wait for their forever families 🏡✨

Toys like these make a huge difference! They will be amazing for crate training 💤🐶, enrichment time 🧠🦴, and daily routines. We already know the dogs are going to enjoy every second of them 😍🐕

🐻 BIG BOY. BIG NEEDS. BIG POTENTIAL. 🐾

Bear is a 1 year old Anatolian / Great Pyrenees mix looking for a home with experience in his breed someone who understands guardian dogs and what they need to thrive.

Bear’s mom and dad had all the right intentions when they brought him home, but they didn’t realize that littermate syndrome is very real. Bear and his brother were raised together, and as they grew, they began feeding off each other’s energy, creating an unsafe situation. A trainer was brought in early and recommended separation.

For the past 6 months, the brothers have lived separated within the same home, rotating throughout the day. Unfortunately, this setup has caused ongoing stress and tension, and Bear is now lacking the physical and mental outlets a young guardian breed needs. This has left him feeling unsettled and unhappy in his crate not because he’s a bad dog, but because his needs aren’t being fully met.

Bear has so much potential, but he needs a human who understands his breed, can provide structure, consistency, and appropriate outlets, and is committed to continuing his training.

If you’re experienced, patient, and looking for a loyal young dog with the right foundation, Bear is waiting for you.

It’s not often I post this late at night, but this left me completely speechless and shedding happy tears. From the moment Momma Leona arrived with me to now, two months into being in her home while continuing her heartworm treatment, this transformation is absolutely breathtaking.

This is exactly why I will always be a voice for the voiceless. This sweet momma roamed for so long and had so many litters, and I knew she was safe the moment we got confirmation she was coming to us. Now seeing her with her family and her big brother truly means the world to me.

I know her family has poured so much love into her. There was a bump in the road with her heartworm treatment, which I know gave them a scare, as it would anyone, but continuing to do what’s best for her and giving her everything she needs is everything she always deserved. Thank you for loving this mommy the way you do. I knew it would be hard letting her go, but reminders like this are exactly why I don’t keep them all, even though I definitely want to sometimes 🥹🤍🐾

Look who made her way to us yesterday 💕 Saydey

Saydey’s mom has been going through an incredibly difficult time. Navigating a domestic violence situation is never easy, and it becomes even harder when so many shelters are unable to accommodate pets.

Yesterday, we welcomed Saydey into our care and got her vetted, and today she gets to head out for a meet & greet. 🐾

Saydey also holds a very special place in our hearts. This beautiful girl is deaf, and that just makes her even more incredible. 💗

Please keep this sweet girl in your thoughts and wish her the best of luck today. She deserves nothing but good things ahead. 🤞✨
