Changing Tides Equine is now offering Groundwork & Horsemanship classes! Perfect for beginners or equestrians looking to learn more about horses beyond the saddle.

Students will get hands-on experience with grooming, horse care, safe handling, groundwork, equine behavior, and communication—all while building confidence and practical horsemanship skills.

Yesterday was such a fun day at the Hampton Classic! 🐴💙

For our second day at the Classic, we brought a little bit of Changing Tides to the Kids’ Tent with our horseshoe dream catcher craft—and our table was a HUGE hit! The kids got so creative and made the most beautiful horseshoes. We loved meeting so many wonderful families, getting creative together, and sharing a little bit about Changing Tides.

A huge thank you to Rosanna and the Hampton Classic Horse Show for inviting us to be part of the Classic this year. We are so grateful for the opportunity and hope to be back next year for even more fun! 💙

And a huge thank you to our incredible volunteers Alex, Aprillina, Sarah, Sheila, and Kristy for helping bring it all together—from planning and setup to spending the day crafting with the kids. We truly couldn’t have done it without you!

And a BIG shoutout to Kristy for making all of our Changing Tides goodies with our logo—from koozies and chapstick to bags and shirts! We appreciate all the time, creativity, and love you put into making everything so special. 💙

We had so much fun today at the Animal Welfare & Adoption Day at the Hampton Classic! 🐴💙

It was so wonderful to meet so many amazing people and connect with fellow horse organizations and rescues. Thank you to everyone who visited us and provided us a warm welcome for our first Hampton Classic day.

If you didn’t get to stop by and say hello today. We will be back tomorrow from 10 AM–2 PM in the Kids’ Tent, where we’ll have a fun horse-themed craft and some swag! 🐎✨

Children don't need another screen.

They need muddy boots.

Fresh air.

Trees to climb.

Bread to bake.

Ponies to cuddle.

Vegetables to grow.

This summer we've watched children laugh until they couldn't breathe.

Build confidence without even realising it.

Make friends.

Learn new skills.

Connect with nature.

Sometimes childhood doesn't need entertaining.

It simply needs the freedom to be outside.

Watching our HAF children leave smiling every afternoon reminds us exactly why we do this.
