Save A Dog A Day is a registered nonprofit animal rescue specializing in the placement of animals from high kill shelters and puppy mills.

We are 100% volunteer and foster care and 100% of money raised goes to the care of these animals.

Meet Daisy… an 8 year young pretty-as-can-be boston terrier, who is the epitome of loyal and gentle companionship.

Miss Daisy is friendly to all and graciously greets guests big and little... no small dog syndrome here! She is good natured, affectionate, and very easy to please. She does not ask for much and is extremely grateful for attention shown her. Daisy is fully housebroken and crate trained. Daisy loves car rides and the simple pleasure of watching the world out her window. A front door or low window are suitable substitutions, Daisy is a very curious girl and enjoys watching just about any activity.

An avid lover of long walks, she is quite the speedy girl on a leash. With s***k and spice Daisy enjoys a trot and sniff around the yard and playing catch-me-if-you-can in the house. But she is mostly a lazy lovebug, curling up next to her person and chilling out. While Daisy is content following her person around the house when doing chores or chilling in her bed, she simply thrives on closeness and affection and is oh-so-happy when you finally do sit with her. She just LOVES LOVES LOVES her people. And she is very gentle and respectful when asking for attention.

Dogs like Daisy just don't come along very often. She is simply a gem and the best companion ever.

Daisy is vetted, UTD and spayed. DOG SELECTIVE.

Meet Kona Foster / adopt

Meet Kona... Our super handsome boy Kona is brother to 4 other beautiful baby siblings found living in outdoor deplorable conditions. They have all been brought to safety and are currently under the care of our rescue. The pups have been cleaned up, vetted, microchipped and given are resting safely with our veterinarian down south. They are healthy and happy and oh-so-ready ready to begin their new lives. Currently 7 weeks old. We will add updated photos as we receive them.

Kona is still a baby so he needs a home where someone is home during the day.

A fully fenced yard is necessary for adopting any of our precious rescue pups.

His beautiful Mom is also pictured and she will also be available for adoption after medical treatment and some much deserved rest and pampering. Mom looks to be an English Spaniel / beagle mix, 35 pounds.

Almost 4 month old, 18 pound BEAUTIFUL lab mix (As with most rescue pups, breed is simply a best guess) loving boy.

What a great big ball of fun. He is very smart and is already responding to simple commands. He is loving and playful and excellent with the children in his foster home. Very grateful for any attention shown him.

Dune is still a baby so he needs a home where someone is home during the day.

A fully fenced yard is necessary for adopting any of our precious rescue pups.

The adoption fee is $500, plus a $100 neuter retainer which will be returned to you upon proof of neuter.

More and more puppy kisses.... meet sweet Cassidy! Arriving (along with her sisters Lilly Anne & Sabrina and brother Mickey) to LI next weekend sept 26-27. We are hoping to have Cassidy's forever family waiting to welcome her.

As is the case with most rescue pups whose parents are unknow, Cassidy's breed is simply a best guess. Cassidy is 8 weeks old and is 8 pounds.

An application and home visit(virtual) are required for placement of any of our pets. A fully fenced yard is necessary for adopting any of our precious rescue pups.

Meet Baby boy puppies. Foster / Adopt

Meet our newest little guys, Blu, Hunter, and Rocky. These precious guys will be arriving next weekend sept 19-20 and hope to have their forever family waiting for them..

Mom is a yellow lab mix approx 50 pounds. Dad unknown. So, as with most rescues, breed of these pups is definitely a best guess. Pups are 7 1/2 weeks old and weigh 10 pounds.

Very sweet and loving, these little boys are ready to shower you with puppy kisses and entertain you with their antics. .
