Miss Pickles is looking for a new foster home!🏡

If you ask her foster mom mariella.satow Miss Pickles is pretty much the perfect houseguest. She is fully potty trained, loves to sleep in, enjoys gazing out the window and is an excellent car companion who prefers to ride sh***un. And when it comes to her allergy medication, she takes it like a total pro! This 4-year-old Pit Bull Terrier is a people loving, kiss giving, big personality kind of girl. She loves saying hello to everyone she meets on walks, is great with kids and has a special talent for making her favorite people smile with her adorable squeaks and funny little noises.

Life at the shelter is stressful for Pickles, and we know there is a much happier, more relaxed girl waiting to come out when she is in a home. She recently spent time in a loving foster home, where she truly blossomed. Pickles is back at ARF simply because Mariella is heading back to college. It is no fault of her own. Now, we are hoping to find Pickles another foster home where she can settle in, stretch out and simply be Pickles again.

Miss Pickles has been through a lot. She was found as a stray in October 2024 after apparently being left in a wooded area in Springs to fend for herself. She eventually made her way to ARF, and despite everything, she has held onto her loving spirit and heart of gold.

Pickles does have allergies, which means she needs a special diet and medication. She also needs to be the only dog in the home. In return, she promises plenty of kisses, silly sounds, window watching and lots of love. 🥰

Could you be the person who gives Miss Pickles the home she is waiting for? She has already shown us what a wonderful house dog she can be. Now she just needs someone to give her the chance to show you. ❤️

These adorable siblings are full of kitten curiosity and are always ready for their next adventure, whether that means chasing toys, exploring their surroundings, or finding new ways to entertain themselves. Phoenix is the playful little brother with a bright personality, while Lilac brings plenty of sweetness and charm to the duo. When the excitement winds down, both are happy to curl up somewhere cozy for a well deserved nap. This handsome two-year-old Bull Terrier came to ARF all the way from California, and he sure knows how to keep things interesting! Billy has a hilarious personality, a goofy way about him, and a knack for making everyone around him smile. Billy is also deaf, but that certainly doesn’t stop him from having fun! Because he cannot hear verbal cues, training and communication with Billy will be a little different, relying on visual signals, hand gestures, and consistency to help him understand what is being asked of him. He’s a silly, entertaining guy who marches to the beat of his own drum and is sure to keep his future family laughing. 🐾 THE BEST DAY OF THE YEAR IS BACK! 🐾 In celebration of National Dog Day, we’re excited to unveil ARF Hamptons 33rd Annual Stroll to the Sea Dog Walk artwork, created by Isaac Mizrahi! This year’s art is in memory of Jersey, the beloved dog of Dylan Lauren and Paul Arrouet.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 10, from 9 AM to 12 PM and join a community of hundreds of animal lovers at the historic Mulford Farm in East Hampton. The day will kick off with food, silly contests, raffles, a silent auction, vendors and plenty of four-legged fun! Then, we’ll walk one mile to Main Beach and one mile back, raising funds to help rescue, rehabilitate and rehome animals in need.

All of these adoptions are incredibly special, but one in particular stands out from the rest… After being returned twice and waiting THREE AND A HALF YEARS at ARF, Chance finally got the happy ending he had been so patiently waiting for!!!!!! 🥹

And Solo? He’s officially no longer living a Solo life! This sweet cat found an incredible partner to share his home with. The Backstreet Boys are saying “bye bye bye” to shelter life! 🎶 Brian and Howie have both traded the puppy room for families of their own. Basset Hound Maizie Jo has a new family to shower with her signature charm, while kittens Strawberry, Amy, Mercedes, and Diver, each found loving homes to call their own. And we can’t forget Lavender, the kitten who inspired the Bow Wow Meow Ball’s Lavender Daydream cocktail. After making her mark on the biggest night of the year, this sweet girl has a forever dream of her own come true. 💜

Lisa had a powerful message to share. At the 2026 Bow Wow Meow Ball, ARF’s Champion of Animals honoree Lisa McCarthy took the stage to shine a light on the realities facing animal shelters across the country.

For more than two decades, Lisa has been a tireless champion for animals and an extraordinary part of the ARF family. From her years of leadership on our Board to her countless efforts behind the scenes, her commitment to giving animals the love, care and second chances they deserve has made an immeasurable difference.

While the Bow Wow Meow Ball was a night to celebrate ARF Hamptons and the incredible community that makes our lifesaving work possible, Lisa reminded us that there is still so much work to be done.

The 2026 Bow Wow Meow Ball was truly one for the books! 🪩 More than 400 animal lovers came together for a spectacular, sold-out evening celebrating ARF Hamptons and the animals at the heart of everything we do. 🐾

We were honored to present longtime ARF Board member and devoted animal advocate Lisa McCarthy with the Champion of Animals Award, recognizing her decades of dedication to ARF and the animals who need us most.

From cocktails and dinner by Olivier Cheng to dancing to GR1FN, an incredible call to arms led by Harry Santa Olalla and unforgettable moments with our furry friends, the evening was filled with love, laughter and plenty of reasons to celebrate. Chuck Scarborough kept the festivities moving as our wonderful emcee.

A celebration this special takes a village, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make the Bow Wow Meow Ball such a memorable night.
