ARF is a registered 501c3. Established in 1974, the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons, also known as ARF Hamptons, is a nonprofit organization that has rescued more than 33,500 cats and dogs. Entirely funded by donations, ARF provides food, shelter,

love, medical care, and behavioral training for its rescue animals for as long as it takes to find loving homes.

FOSTER NEEDED!
Phinjamin has so much potential and is looking for someone willing to help him shine. This playful, affectionate, one-year-old Lab mix has a big personality, loves other dogs, and is always ready for fun. Shelter life has been challenging for him, and what he needs most right now is a patient foster home where he can learn, grow, and feel secure. Phinjamin has allergies to cats, grass, and peanuts, so he would do best in a home without cats and in an environment that is more city or sandy beach than grassy countryside. ARF is seeking a foster with positive training experience who can help guide him as he works on building confidence and adjusting to life outside the shelter. Ongoing training and support will be provided through ARF, and the foster will be asked to attend regular training sessions with him. By opening your home to Phinjamin, you can make a life changing difference for a young dog who is full of promise and ready for his next chapter. From wagging tails to smiling faces, our adoptable pups were proud to join the festivities and walk alongside so many incredible supporters. Thank you to the volunteers who gave their time, energy, and hearts to help represent ARF and the animals we care for.

At ARF, we believe every animal deserves to be loved, respected, and welcomed for exactly who they are. Pride is a reminder that kindness, compassion, and belonging have the power to change lives. Today, we celebrated the joy of being seen, accepted, and loved, just as we are.

With her striking striped coat, expressive eyes, and affectionate personality, one-year-old Kimchi is ready to find the loving home she deserves. She may take a little time to warm up, but once she trusts you, she’ll happily become your shadow. Kimchi loves being pet, enjoys playtime with her toys, and isn’t shy about letting you know when she’s ready for attention. She came to ARF through our Operation Cat program and is thriving with simple daily B12 supplements that help manage her IBD. Like many cats, she has her preferences, and salmon is at the top of her menu. Beginning this week, both ARF Hamptons Animal Shelter in East Hampton and ARF Thrift & Treasure Shop in Sagaponack will be open late every Thursday until 7 PM!

Whether you’re meeting adoptable dogs and cats, dropping off donations, treasure hunting for unique finds, or simply stopping by to support rescue animals, there’s now even more time to make a difference.

If love had a dog form, it would be Kolter. 🤍

This sweet 9-month-old Texas transplant is happiest when he’s as close to his people as possible. Kolter came to ARF through our rescue partner, X-Port Paws, after his previous family could no longer care for him, and now this Great Pyrenees pup is searching for the forever home he deserves.

Kolter loves to lean his whole body against you, rest a paw on your leg, and make sure he’s always touching someone he loves. If you’re sitting down, don’t be surprised if he finds a way to snuggle right up next to you (or on top of you)!

Friendly, affectionate, and always ready for belly rubs, Kolter absolutely lives for attention and will gladly remind you with a nudge or a goofy grin when he’s ready for more.

WE’RE GOING TO NEED A BIGGER CONFETTI CANNON!!!!!! 🎉🐾 Fourteen shelter pets. Fourteen forever homes. Fourteen reasons to CELEBRATE 🎊 This week, Zeppole, Biscotti, Chai, Ravioli, Farfalle, Fusilli, Ziti, Fagioli, Midnight, Salt, Coco, Pepito, Bindi the Jungle Girl, and Betty all packed their bags and headed home with the families of their dreams. 🏡 Join us in wishing this incredible group a lifetime of belly rubs, cozy beds, favorite toys, and endless love.

Every adoption is a reminder of why we do what we do. Thank you to our adopters for opening your hearts and homes to shelter pets and thank you to our rescue partners for helping make these happy endings possible. 💚
