Good morning Rescue fans!

We are coming to you with an emergency- we need a temporary Foster for a dog, whom we need a place for RIGHT NOW!!!

Red was Adopted as a puppy 5 yrs ago, but the couple is divorcing and Dad is trying to secure housing that will allow Red to stay with him- he needs a Foster for a few weeks (maybe 4 or 5). There is a threat to surrender Red to a shelter if he isn’t out in a week. Red is dog and people friendly, NO cats, housebroken, good on a leash, 50 lbs, 5 yrs old. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help if you can, ask friends if they can help. Most importantly, if you live in CT and can Foster Red, let us know IMMEDIATELY! We don’t want a dog to go to a shelter. Hello all,

Change A Life Dog Rescue comes to you for help…two dogs need you and we hope you can assist: Freya and Max.

First up- Max

Do you take Wegovy? If so, you and Max have something in common. Max is a 12 yr old, 14lb Cockapoo who was recently diagnosed as Diabetic. He was surrendered to his Vet because his person was not able to care for him. We need a Foster or Adopter for Max- he just needs one injection a day to help get him regulated. IYKYK. But this is a process and we are looking for someone who want to live on the sweet little guy and help him at this time in his life. Max seems fina around other dogs and cats- and he is in CT, so we can easily do a walk through to see if he is a good fit in your home, and help you establish his care.

Last but not least- Freya

We have an 8 month old, Female, 43lb Malinois/Shepherd mix who needs a Foster or new Adopter. Freya is housebroken, good on a leash, can be crated, dog friendly, playful and sweet. This pup is in a home with very young kids and it is overwhelming for her. Freya would do best with older children or adults. This pup is smart, and she would love to train or have a job- that is the Hallmark of the Malinois, smart/trainable working dogs!

WE HAVE A FOSTER!!!

WE ARE STILL LOOKING FOR A FOSTER- we cannot help dogs without Fosters!

We need your help!

We have a 3 yr old, 77lb dog and people friendly, housebroken, moderately active Anatolian Shepherd whom we would like to transport to CT, but NO ONE has agreed to Foster. We cannot help dogs without Fosters. Cass was surrendered to a shelter because his person was sick. The shelter found a temp Foster for him and we want to bring him to CT to help find his Forever home, but we need an approved Foster to do this. Can YOU help a dog on his path to his Forever home? We are still basking in the glow of the nation’s 250th anniversary. We present to you, the Patriot pups! Oh say can you see…how adorable they are?
Yankee Doodle and Miss America.

The pups come to us from a shelter in Georgia. They were surrendered by people who were struggling to care for them. A Rescue took them in and a few days later, they broke with Parvo. That could be pretty frightening. However, in the words of Lin Manuel Miranda about Alexander Hamilton, they were “young, scrappy and hungry.” Yankee Doodle and Miss America recovered and are here to say they “are not throwing away their shot!”

Miss America and Yankee Doodle are 7 or 8 month old Hound mixes who are about 30lbs each. They are healthy, vaccinated, microchipped, spayed/neutered and ready to go to a Forever home. Miss America, the beautiful is sweet and shy but she is cat/dog/people friendly and she keeps her kennel clean. Yankee Doodle may not be riding into town on a pony, but he is looking to snuggle up to his new family. He is cat/dog/people friendly and also keeps his kennel clean.

The Patriot pups have CT Fosters and will be in CT late July or August 1st. They can go to approved Adopters in CT RI NH NY NJ VT & MA- lets celebrate LIBERTY with the Patriot pups. Email [email protected] AND submit an application TODAY!@

Kilo needs a Foster OR ADOPTER. Let me share his story.

A few weeks ago, we were approached about taking a few dogs from a Georgia shelter. One was named Kilo, he was said to be sweet and dog friendly, so we pulled him from the shelter and placed him with our Vet partner in Georgia. He was vaccinated, treated for Heartworm and transported to CT. A Foster took Kilo in although she had travel dates coming up, we just wanted to get him out of the kennel. Another Foster took him in to keep him out of boarding, but he was stressing out the cat. Kilo still needs a place to go…perhaps your heart, because he is sweet and lovable. This 3 yr old Husky is about 65lbs and calm for a Husky….thats rare, IYKYK. Kilo is completely housebroken, good on a leash and can be crated (although he doesn’t need it). We suggest no cats, because he might chase. Outside of that, you would be welcoming in THE best dog! We heard from a woman who knew the family that had to surrender Kilo. They experienced a fire in their home and had to move and did not have the proper yard to keep him, so they made the heartbreaking decision to surrender him. Sometimes life circumstances lead us to make these kinds of decisions. We were told that Kilo is a great pup and he is actually named Kylo, like Kylo Ren from Star Wars. We already knew that Kilo was cool, but this just increased the cool factor. Kilo (or Kylo 😜) is Fostered in CT and can go to an approved Adopter in CT RI NH VT NJ NY and MA. Let’s help this guy feel safe, secure and at home for the rest of his life!

Kanan needs a Foster or an ADOPTER. This guy is pretty awesome! He would be a wonderful addition to just about any house. Kanan is dog friendly, (no cats please) great on a leash, he would be good with kids because he is gentle, non destructive, completely housebroken, moderately energetic, affectionate, alert, rarely barks, loves his people, very smart, very easy to care for.

Kanan’s Fosters have some travel dates coming up, and want to keep him out of a kennel, so we are looking for a Foster OR ADOPTER for Kanan. Come meet him!
