Happy Halloween 🎃

10/28/2026

Here's a tasty Halloween treat for your dog.

Plumpkins 🎃

3 cups oat flour (don't worry if you don't have oat flour. Just take whole oats not instant oats and put them in a food processor and blend into powder. You could use whole wheat but use white whole wheat flour you don't want to over powerthe pumpkin & spices )

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1 large egg
3 Tablespoons unsweetened applesauce
3/4 canned pumpkin puree (unsweetened)
1/2 cup water.

These are drop cookies 🍪 not a dough to roll. This cookie dough will not flatten or rise. If you want a flatter cookie you can press them down before baking, maybe even use a Halloween themed cookie cutter for a fun shap. Best to use parchment paper onto of your cookie sheet. Set oven at 350 deg once up to temp bake for 20 -30 min until golden brown.

Summer earned her first ribbon for the peewee retrieve for the Working Certificate test at Finn Fur and Feathur Club with the Pawcutuck River Labrador Retriever Club. She loves birds at almost 5 mths old.
Jamie and Meadow also attended but they didn't pass. Jamie needed a assist on the first water retrieve, second time she did great, land wasn't bad.
Meadow I'm proud of her for having no experience she marked wonderfully just wouldn't retrieve land or water.
Either way great experience for "green" dogs and a fun day! Lots of praise for a good experience (0:
Will work on force fetch for adults over the next months and obedience for puppy Summer. She's not old enough for force fetch.

Trying out this food on the adults to start. This may take the place of the one meal kibble they get a day. I'm still feeding one meal raw that won't ever change.
It's air dried. It smells so good. I may even try it lol

I have always informed my puppy buyers about the rabies vaccine. I never ever give it with any vaccine which the only vaccine my dogs receive is their puppy combo vaccine with no lyme and no lepto ever! I never vaccinate after that! I push out the rabies until 6mths so in their life time hopefully they don't have to get to many! I forgot to mention you are required to booster, titers are not excepted in many states.
