HITS Vermont 2026 did not disappoint and neither did my students!
Emma Rampe took 5th in the 2’6 derby and great ribbons in the low children’s. She also competed in Vermont Week 1 and challenged herself in the competitive Children’s 3’ division with great rounds and great ribbons as well!
Ava Domergue put down one of her best courses ever in the .80’s on day 2, but had some equally great rides the rest of the week
Carly Ko took a new horse, BHS Icon (just turned 5yr old, imported WB…who has never been at an away show) to see how he handled the show atmosphere with no big expectations BUT ended up with 2 blue ribbons, 6th, 8th, and finished up with a 10th on the .80 classic
Brooke Benson scored herself a blue ribbon and a 5th in optimum time class, plus she pushed herself and even dabbled in the .90’s class!
Cassidy Vinal shared Apollo and did a flat class and ended her week with a 6th in the modified flat! Cassidy was also a stellar groom with her sidekick pup, Sir Rupert IV 🐶
Savannah Ryan wrapped up the week with a 2nd, 4th, and a 8th in the 1.0 classic! This was her first time showing in the meter class as well!!!
Jordyn Alt competed in the first Vermont week and laid down some impressive courses and finished out by doing the 3’ National Hunter Derby
Ashlyn Clark also joined us at the first Vermont week, and came home with great rounds and some good ribbons out of very big classes! This was also her first big away show too!
