American vs Korean or Chinese Ginseng (Red Ginseng)

Did you know not all ginseng are the same? Even though they are both Panax genus, there is significant differences between them. American ginseng is considered a more cooling herb (yin) such as lowering body temperature, whereas Chinese and Korean Ginseng are more stimulating and has more warming properties (yang) such as improving blood circulation.
