FIV doesn’t define a cat’s life. Meet Salt.

Salt is 10 years old and living a happy, comfortable life. He’s FIV positive, which means his immune system needs a little extra support - including routine monitoring and dental care, since dental disease is common in FIV cats.

With consistent checkups and preventive care, many FIV-positive cats live long, full lives. Plus....that face!

Salt is proof that with partnership and proactive care, a diagnosis isn’t the end of the story.

Zeus arrived unable to eat or drink. Every minute mattered.

Just weeks earlier, his mom had suffered a medical emergency that cost her job. As she worked to recover and steady her life, Zeus began to decline and she reached out to us for help. Because of the Remedy Relief Fund, we were able to say yes immediately and begin lifesaving care.

Our team stabilized him with bloodwork, IV fluids, pain management, and x-rays, which revealed a large mass on his spleen. He needed an emergency splenectomy. Through our partnership with Atlanta Humane Society, Zeus received surgery without delay.

Today, he’s home, healthy, and back where he belongs.

Give now at https://remedyvet.com/give-back and help more pets like Zeus make it home.

Sometimes after surgery, certain pets take a little longer to wake up - but don’t worry, they’re closely monitored every step of the way!

If your pet is in need of surgical services such as dentals, mass removals, or spay/neuter give us a call.

When a local family welcomed a stray into their home, they had no idea she was pregnant. They simply knew she needed a safe place to land.

Not long after, she surprised them with six chunky, healthy puppies.

They brought this new mom and her growing litter to Remedy for their first checkup and deworming. Everyone is thriving, and these little ones are off to a strong start because their family is committed to giving them the best possible care.

This is what community care looks like.

To start your week on the right paw, we checked in with little Miss Maggie Jean Brown 🐾

After a mass removal and a dental with us, this sweet girl is on the mend and feeling so much better. Because care at Remedy is offered at cost, Maggie’s family was able to say yes to the surgery she needed — and to the preventive, specialized care that will keep her healthy in the years ahead.

If your pet seems hesitant to eat, has persistent “not-so-fresh” breath, or you’ve noticed changes in their gums, it may be time for a dental consult. Give us a call at (404)-875-6420 to schedule.

All rise for Bailiff!

Adopted in 2020 as Judge Dad’s official work-from-home assistant, Bailiff takes his role seriously: maintaining order, monitoring Zoom calls, and delivering expert head tilts that could sway any jury.

He stopped by for some itchy skin relief, and we’re getting him back in shape to resume his full-time duty. That includes keeping the peace, protecting the bench, and making sure justice (and treats) are properly served.

Any guesses what two breeds make up Princeton?

Here’s your hint: one is famously vocal, and the other is known for occasionally clocking in full-time.

This handsome mix was taken in by his new mom after she saw him being given away for free at a local park. What could have been an uncertain start turned into a second chance. He came in today for vaccines and a check up to ensure he is growing up healthy.

While we love a good guessing game, many litters like Princeton’s begin unintentionally. That’s why spaying and neutering matters — it helps prevent accidental litters, reduces shelter intake, and gives more dogs the opportunity for a safe, healthy future.
