I’ll never grow Rudbeckia without thinking about way back when I started growing cut flowers alongside .nc. We were both growing them & selling together as cooperative vendors. We had so many that Evelyn dubbed it the “rudbeckia situation.” It’s always that first big flush that makes me giggle with that memory.
